This item works great. It is inexpensive with great results. The strips are cheaper than others and the size is wonderful. I can carry it in my purse at any time in the pouch.
I think this is the best meter on the market -- bar none. It is VERY affordable...and easy to use and carry. I travel extensively on business...very easy to just throw in my brief case. It provides extremely reliable data...and the tests only take seconds...making my life easy. Buy the unit...you will LOVE it!!!
Great Product. I am a newly diagnosed Diabetic and picked up this meter for its cost, but still love it. Quick testing, easy to carry, easy to read. I bought this meter just before a business trip and its small caring case made it easy to keep up with and easy to keep with me even while moving around town. Keeps track of the last 200 readings but does not do self evaluation. Reliable, inexpensive, easy to carry, what more could you ask for? Ok perhaps an easier way to upload data to your computer, but no other complaints. Even the test strips are inexpensive.
This meter, is by far superior to any other that I have used over the last Ten (10) years that I have been a diabetic. It provides quick and easy testing and has a great memory.(Something like 200) However, I think the software and the cables etc, should come with the package since it has the potential to download your results to your PC. The search for these items are difficult.
I have been using this for two years now and found it very reliable and easy to use. I actually compared its reading with lab readings and found it to be very accurate. It requires only a small amount of blood. I completely disagree with the other reviewer who said it required large amount of blood. It is also easy to carry. I even carry it in my pocket sometimes. I got a cheaper deal in Walgreens (for only $6.49) last year. I've also presented one kit to my father. He is happy with it too. I would recommend it for anyone.
The meter is quick and easy to use. The lancing device doesn't work as it should but can still be used to get the job done. Package contains everything you need (except lancets and test strips) for considerably less than other similar products -- a savings of about $50 or mor.
I bought this for my husband and he is very happy. It is easy to follow the direction.
My first meter, it's easy to use, strips insert easily. Number is very visible. Inexpensive compared to many others, shipping time thru mail was quick. Includes a lancet device and a few lancets. Hint: You also need to buy some more lancets in addition to the strips. Includes a nice case. Very happy with product.

I've had this product for a while and am now in the market for a new meter. This product uses a large amount of blood which leaves your fingers sore. I've had the contour meter and it uses far less blood and is less painful. Because of insurance purposes I switched to this meter but I'd rather spend my own money and pay for a meter that is less painfull and is easier to use.
