I absolutely LOVE my Rocketbook. I use it daily. It has really helped me keep organized.
The boss bought one each for the team at work, and I've been tinkering here and there with it for a few weeks. You know how bosses are when they think they have a great idea, and then you have to follow, right? Human nature made me resist as it sat unopened on my desk for about two weeks, and then my curiosity got the best of me. When I had time to carve out a half hour to really get into it, I was hooked, and spent another hour setting it up, testing, sending pages and really giving it the ol' test drive. Then I started looking for the limits. Tried sending files to my boss and my Google Drive at the same time - worked. Then the same page just to my email. Worked. I even started uploading expense receipts and then I knew I was going to use this daily. I love the seven options on the bottom of each page for destinations, and have one for my email, my boss' email (to review my notes at meetings he couldn't attend), one for expenses that get put in my Google Drive (and I can choose individual receipts or combine them all into PDF), and now I rely on it as a serious business tool for a frequent road warrior. I would pay my boss back for the purchase, but he makes more than me, so I'm accepting it as a gift. :) The last point is that you need to use special pens for this, and color options are available by FriXion, but adding color brings a new dimension to your notes, and is totally worth it. Get the book, and then spend a few extra bucks on the pens and then send your stuff around the world.
Love the new pattern. I'm a repeat buyer so keep up the good work.
I love this notebook. I take a lot of notes and have filled shelf's with full notebook. The problem for me was finding where I wrote it down. I tried other smart notebook but most still would get full and I would have to buy a new one or have special pens that sometimes have issues making a electronic copy. Rocketbook is amazing. I can write all I want, upload, erase, and write some more. I want to get more of Rocketbooks products.
I was using my first rocket book core so such I decided to get a second! One for home and one for work. I'm now converting all my pens over to Frixion so I don't accidentally ruin my rocket book!
Love this book! This is my third. I prefer the lines on this one. I like how they're not really dark so you don't have to use them if you don't want, but dark enough to use them when you want.
I'm an avid Rocketbook user, and I love my new one too. Nothing like a fresh, new Rocketbook!
This is the simplest way to get into the Rocket Book eco system. Its large enough, portable and affords most features you need. I cant say enough good about this system but truly you need to use the app to make the most of the capabilities. Its much much more than and erasable note pad. Its the perfect merger between a tech writing pad and the handwritten experience.
I bought the item last week and just used it today. I am pleased that it will meet my writing needs. I wanted a device that would turn my hand written notes into typed print to avoid jotting down personal notes and then typing them for filing purposes. I hate typing, so I generally write things in a note book. I have too many notebooks and was looking to “downsize”. I was horrified that I would have to potentially buy an iPad ($$$) just to get an app that could transcribe my writing. My investment would have included the iPad, app, multiple notebooks over the years, pens, and shredder (as needed). With Rocketbook, I invest in a notebook, pen, and water. I have read reviews noting overtime the pages get to a state where they can no longer be erased, but with the savings from not buying an iPad and an expensive app, I will be okay buying another notebook in the distant future. Pro: uploads content as stated and transcribes writing into text, easy to wipe and reuse, and reasonably priced for my needs. Cons: the spiral paper wrapping is too tight making it difficult to turn pages, (I received pages that were double-hole punched that is making them easy to come out), and it was a little tricky following the instructions to get items converted to text. Basically, it cannot be on “auto-send”. You can have it on “Bundle Scans,” like the image in the instructions for it to work. The instructions do not highlight it must be on “Bundle Scans,” so clarification is needed. *Note: I put the double-hole punched pages con in parentheses because I hope I was one of very few people that received a book in this state and that it is rare to sell books in that condition. So, hopefully this con will not be yours, too. I still plan to keep and use the book, I just feel you should be gentle with turning the pages because of the tight coils. Potential upgrades: ability to recognize shapes (e.g. if I put a number in a circle), ability to recognize crossed out text, and a Microsoft word format option. I think the MS Word option will help with crossed out text. If I write something incorrectly, I had to wipe the entire line I wanted to replace. The cloth wipe does not avoid text that is in close proximity to the text I want to replace. Perhaps a cloth eraser cap would help, similar to the portable white boards that do not have the general big 6x3 in eraser. The marker has an eraser on the top of its cap. Overall: I would highly recommend to others
There were no flaws affecting functionality, but the production quality was disappointing. The bottom edge of the cover was very roughly cut. This problem showed up in other areas of the notebook, most notably throughout bottom edge and even in the holes for the plastic spiral, which left shavings in between many of the pages. There were also many visible smudges on the front and back covers, even on the inside. Again, thankfully none of flaws affect the function of the notebook. However it was disappointing to see the drop in quality, especially since it has been a few years since I ordered my first rocketbook, which got to me just fine. I would like to think this was a fluke.
