I have been a fan of Frixion erasable pens for several years and they are my preferred pen for taking notes (and all-around general use). I ordered this Rocketbook Fusion notebook when I read that water can be used to erase what has been written with a Frixion pen and then re-use pages. This notebook has a variety of templates (project/task list, weekly calendar, monthly calendar, goal setting, idea list, lined, and grid). The software that integrates to save notes is great, too. I like using the grid paper for creating a "smart list," just draw boxes next to each line of text and the software saves your scan as a list and stores it as text that can also be edited in the app. Using double sets of hash tags with text in between automatically names your scan to match. I am famous for grabbing an envelope or the tear-away from a Netflix envelope to jot notes on and then I have lots of odd sized papers with those notes laying around. Now I will use my Rocketbook Fusion to happily reduce the clutter and headache of finding which scrap of paper has what I need to refer to (did I mention you can search your scanned notes within the app for specific text--what a time-saver)! If you're unsure about which of their notebooks or planners to buy, look at the templates that each notebook has and narrow it down from there. They also have the Orbit with a top-bound magnetic paper pack system instead of spiral bound like the rest of their line. This allows the user to buy multiple paper packs and quickly change them out based on need. The yet-to-be released Axis seems similar to the Orbit except the metal rings are on the side. Once that is released, I will compare the Orbit and the Axis and decide which format I prefer and expand my notebook collection. Tips: Rocketbook notebooks come with a .7 mm pen. I prefer .38mm for general use and .4 or .5 mm for use with my Rocketbook. Since a finer point lays down less ink, it dries faster. I also don't use much pressure when writing, so I don't "dent" the pages.
This is a very nice book for someone like myself who is old school, but, can still appreciate technology. I like to write, so this is perfect for me, and the ability to have what I have written transferred and stored in cloud is exceptional. Even teenagers were impressed by the technology. Great.
A coworker raved about her Rocketbook purchase and I decided to try it. It is an amazing product, the price is outstanding and the customer service is perfect. When I received my Rocketbook I started using it right away. Unfortunately the pen was writing more like a pencil, the ink had dried out. I reached out to the team and in a very short period of time I received two pens. I am a very satisfied customer!
I recently got into Rocketbook products starting with the Mini notepad and instantly fell in love with it. I was excited to see that Rocketbook also has a planner with the same great features. This product exceeds my expectations and keeps me organized!
This thing is awesome. Great for saving important information and saves paper and the environment! It has reusable pages for calendar, things to do, projects & tasks, objectives & ideas, black dotted pages and notebook pages. Comes with a Microfiber towel, just wet the towel and wipe the pages when done. This notebook comes with a Pilot FriXion Pen for writing in the notebook. You can buy them anywhere and use pens, markers or even highlighters! Just download the Rocket Book App from Google or iTunes and your on your way. You just take your phone or tablet camera and snap a picture of the page and it knows what to do. You can assign different pages to different cloud storage places like Google, dropbox, Google pictures etc. You just decide what emblem stands for where you want to put it and you just check the box with that emblem and click your pic. It sends it where you want automatically. It will even transfer your handwriting into digital letters and numbers if you want. You can even write an email click a picture and it will transfer it to an email format and send it for you instantly! Each page has a row of emblems across bottom along with a code box. This comes in handy for me, not only for monthly bills and appointments, but for my hobby. I am a comic book collector and buy comics weekly. I can keep track of what comics and issues I buy weekly and save them in the cloud so I'll never forget what I am currently buying/collecting, what the cost is and what I've already got. I don't have to get into my comic longboxes on my hands and knees going thru my collection. It's a lifesaver! I highly recommend. Plus it is great for the environment and saves money on notebook paper. I love mine!
This note book is literally the only note book I will need for a long time. It has a no pre date calendar which is amazing as I can write in my own dates. It also comes with a planner task sheet. As for the ability to erase it comes with a pen and wide eraser. You must wet the rag a little to erase and use a dry part to dry. Taking the photo and sending it to Google is fairly easy. I love it and have no problem buying a few more for future need or gift given.
This is a pretty slick product. I have terrible handwriting and it can read it. I really like the way you can set up a bunch of different destinations and quickly and easily scan and send notes. It's fairly intuitive but there are also lots of detailed instructions. The app is fast. The pen feels comfortable in my hand, and the sheets are easy to clean, with or without the included cloth. The only downside for me is that I'm left-handed and it takes several seconds for the ink to dry, so sometimes I am smudging. It is a really nice size as well.
I haven't owned this product long enough to figure out all of the features but this is definitely something I would use. You can send handwritten notes via email, iCloud, or any similar service. The writing erases cleanly but if you press down hard when you write the indentions are there to stay.
So the Pros: I love the feel of how the pen writes on the "paper", it's super smooth. Paper savings - all pages can be washed and reused over and over again. Cons: It takes time for the ink to dry so you have to be a little careful with the wet ink. It takes a picture of the page but doesn't seem to transcribe it into typing, how is this more beneficial than just a regular notebook or white board that you take a picture of with your phone? Overall, I just don't see the value in this, and don't anticipate using it going forward. It was fun to play with and test, but I don't see it being worth the time to write it here and upload a pic as opposed to just typing something into my phone in the first place.
Not happy Too small for an old lady No pen!
