I use the Rocketbook Mini for making grocery lists. I for a kitchen that is serving 300 people on a Sunday. It is so convenient to make the list and then wipe it away, saying paper.
I love this little guy. I keep it with my SteamDeck to make video game notes. I love that I don't feel wasteful with numerous little pads. I also love that rocketbook pages are thicker, so it takes a little beating on my couch and hasn't been damaged at all, even by handsy cats!
The mini is the perfect size to carry in my pocket when I'm out. It shows for quick notes and messages. The Reusable pages means no longer needing to replace a notepad.
A tiny helper to keep notes while you are out on adventures... Or need a quick shopping list, fast food order, or less space related things.
This pocket-sized notebook is so handy. Also, I love the way the pen writes and fits in the hand. The ink flows smoothly as well. Let the ink dry 10-15 seconds and then it won't smudge. All the pages in this mini notebook are the same. (I also have the Rocketbook planner, which has various types of pages.) This also comes with a mini cloth for wiping the pages clean. Just add a little water. For erasing smaller portions, you can just use the eraser tip on the pen. The app is easy to use, but you don't have to use it. It's just for backing up pages from your notebook, so you can erase and yet have a digital copy.
I love the size because I throw it in my purse. I have memory issues because of my spinal stroke, so this helps a lot.
I have a larger Rocketbook, which is a little bulky for my purse. This Mini is just what I needed for everyday use. It fits in my bag and allows me to keep notes, grocery lists, random ideas, etc. I can upload them with the Rocketbook app or simply clean the pages and start again - no paper to waste/recycle.
Incredibly handy item. It's conveniently sized for on-the-go or when you need to jot something down.
The Rocketbook Mini is convenient in size, but I was hoping for a little more utility. The convenience of a pocket-sized notepad is that quick note may be taken, comfortably, while holding the pad in your hand. The front and rear covers of the Mini should have been twice the thickness of other Rocketbooks to provide a sufficiently sturdy platform without resting the Mini on a surface. Taking the Mini out, jotting a quick note, and closing it to put back in a pocket results in smudges on the back of the facing note page. The ink simply does not dry quickly enough (this may be a fundamental flaw of the erasable surface design, not just the Mini). Finally, the Mini should come with a pen holder - it is not worth paying 30%+ more for the pad and a Pen Station. Good concept, I'm just not impressed with the execution.
While the pen worked on regular paper, it only wrote thin, inconsistent/broken lines on the tablet. I contacted support and completed their instructions (wet pen, put in freezer etc) and nothing improved how it wrote on the tablet. Also the images look like thick lines, even on paper that was not the case. Also I thought this was a special pen to write on the tablet only, not a pen which appears to have a special ink, which means the pen would need to be replaced? Their return link did not work so I returned it to the return address provided, it was returned back to me.
