Instructions were really good, I didn't need the shift lever extension nor did I need to adjust my transfer case linkage. I don't know if it was luck or coincidence, but the bumper brackets bolted up flawlessly.
Good solid equipment
has everything to the job correctly! I've installed this kit in a few trucks my only complaint is when cutting the lower fan shroud you must trim more then stated on the instructions or you will have a issue. A++++ kit best body lift on the market.
Great kit! Took a little longer than anticipated due to age of truck (30 yrs old). Would like to have seen clearer photos in the instructions and a breakdown of the hardware regarding sizes and the quantities You open the bag(s) and there's a lot!! Take your time and sort them out and you'll be fine. With the RC 6” lift already on and 38” Toyos all around, final lift came to 13.5” over stock! Very pleased
I put the suspension lift on and to be able to raise the portion keys all the way up and get the camber correct I had to use cam bolts on the upper control arms and ball joint spacers on the upper ball joints. I went ahead and got wheel spacers on the front for extra clearance. I did not see these things in the directions or descriptions but I needed them and wasn't sure that rough country knew that.
In the process of doing a few things to the truck including that.. but is there any way to send pics of the finished product? I also got your 6 inch suspension lift and it has been on the truck for months.. could use the better shocks prolly but I gotta say I'm pretty pleased with both products.. definitely gives my girl a nasty aggressive stance with 35 inch milestar padagonias on 15 inch mickey Thompson bullet holes with 2 inch spacers all the way around.. and has a functional cowl hood. This truck is pretty much my wife if you can't tell lol.. you guys should do a body and suspension combo!!
I bought this kit and it came with everything you will need. It had easy instructions. Great kit. You won't be disappointed. By the way I never write reviews but felt this was such an impressive kit i should let other people know.
Both kits came in very quickly. I'm in the process of installing the 6 inch suspension lift and after that the 3 inch body lift. I'm very excited to see and feel the results of these products. Once I am completely installed these products I will post my pictures and reviews. I have my own shop, time and tools for these products.
Seems to be good. Wish it had fan shroud extensions rather than cutting it out, that is the main down fall that I see.
Very nice kit, Rear bumper brackets didn't line up with side bumper brackets. Would be nice if it came with all new bumper bolts as a 1992 truck from Michigan gets a little rusty. Had to make a few trips to buy bolts. If you pay close attention to the instructions and pictures it's pretty good. Truck looks really good after it was installed
