I am a disabled Veteran. I like doing crafts to fill the time. I like these because I can do it while I listen to music, or waiting for the computer to download, or if I just need to step away from all the bad news in the world. I can sit and just focus on the lines that need to be removed, and dream about being with them. I put them in frames, some with mats and others without mats. They are great gifts for Christmas or a birthday. It teaches patience and helps create a steady hand.
got two of these, was very excited.. then not. it is not what I expected. it is basically scratching off the black layer to show the foil underneath. I seriously would not suggest this for younger children due to the mess of the stuff you scrape off.. it could get into the eyes or breathed in. not terribly messy, but some particles could be a problem. it would be nice for someone who wanted a black picture with the foil coloring. keep In mind the picture will be black with the foil showing the etched marks. I personally would not recommend it, however.. it may be just what your looking for. I suggest watching a vid on it before purchasing, especially if your getting it for someone else.
