This container is worth the money if you need a 50 gallon trash bin with a 55 gallon trash bag.
I live in the downstairs apartment where there's only 2 apartments. A very nice %26 helpful young man lives upstairs. Our landlord does pay the garbage bill but doesn't supply the cans. Which is perfectly fine with us, we're Blessed that they pay for the pickup! we only had one garbage can %26o if we would forget to put it out in time we were pretty much out of luck for the next wks garbage. This can is sturdy and plenty of room even if we were to miss the pickup. The only problem is that the lid is not connected. It fits %26 locks in place fine. But I worry about the garbage collectors not at least putting it inside the can, especially if it happens to be windy. I'm still giving it 5 stars. I was aware that the lid was separate before I bought it. Another plus is that it's Rubbermaid!
I expected the it to be smaller for the price, I was impressed and can't to purchase a second!
We've had this trash can a few years and it's been great, occasionally its been stolen by the local bears, we'd find it out in the woods a bit beaten up, but after pushing on it, it would pop back into its original shape, sporting just a few punctures. Lately we've had to tie it to a big old oak tree and bungee strap a chunk of barb wire on the top to keep the bears from getting into it or dragging it away. Apparently that makes a bear mad, he tore it off the tree and drug it 40-50 yards thru thick woods. This is what we found.
I don't like that the lid is not attached. I like that it is sturdy and it has wheels .. I it was more wider than being taller.
I guess it's worth the money, BUT , major problem I have with this is that pictures in the add show a hinged cover. It does not. The overall quality is okay, worth the money, but I would not have bought it if the pictures accurately showed no hinged cover.
NOT AN ATTACHED LID. I understand the details say "snap on" closure, but I just assumed it meant that it "latches" shut. The last three pictures show a completely different trash can than what you're getting. Bummed, but overall, it's a trash can that'll keep animals out, so 🤷🏻♀️.

Delivered with the wrong lids. Useless.
They didn't include the lid %26 when I called them they said there weren't any lids in the store and they couldn't get any. So they refunded my money.
