I bought this product as well as a larger recyling bin. It stands alone beside a chair or will clip to another container. I use it for paper products like 8 1/2 x 11 or junk mail. It shipped well in a single carton with paper packing around it..
The bin is small yes, but its only 4.75 qt, its meant to be small. The main issue I had is that it didn't fit in the other bin that it was paired with on the site. Very disappointed.
