We have loved this ball organizer! It's so easy for my kids to put their balls away when they are done playing with them. The only problem is the cord broke. Now the balls just fall out. We have tried a bungee cord but it doesn't work. Would love a replacement cord!
NOT RECOMMENDED. This ball rack broke in under a year and there is NOWHERE to buy the replacement rubber bands/straps that hold the balls in. Need someone to contact me ASAP please.
My husband bought 3 of these racks from Lowes this fall. 2 out of the 3 we bought, the cords dry rotted and snapped. Very disappointed that you can't buy replacement cords. Waste of money!
Poorly engineered product. Rubber will dry rot after a year.
Like everyone else the bands dried out, cracked, and broke. It's kind of cracking me up - the point of failure is actually in the company name! "Rubber"maid. Total fail.
Great product but the cords broke within the first few months. Can't find replacement cords anywhere on top of that. Now I have my kids putting their soccer and basketballs in a storage container on the floor in our garage. :(
I bought this product and felt it was a very good idea to neatly contain and easily access my kids balls. Had it less than a 6 months and one of the bands broke. I have completely outfitted my garage with the Rubbermaid fastrack system and had up to this point been very pleased. Overall the fastrack has been absolutely wonderful, however for this one articular product I am displeased. The product failed and was not used outside its intended design, and you cannot simply order a replacement band. I would recommend the fastrack system, however not recommend the ball storage feature. With better bands, or better replacement options to the consumer, this could be a value adding component. Without either, I wound not recommend purchasing.
The rack works perfectly until the cord broke. Better quality and more durable cord materials need to be used otherwise this will not last long.
Like everyone else the rubber cords that hold in the balls dry out and break and there is nowhere to purchase replacements. Mine broke after one year of use.
I purchased this unit just over 12 months ago and have been picking up balls on my garage floor ever since. The bungee cords aren't strong enough to hold the balls inside the rack so I had to wrap a couple horizontally to hold the balls in place. Now, the original cords have perished to the state where one has snapped off. I've seen a more durable competitor option in stores, but unfortunately I'm now locked into the Fasttrack system unless I want to tear the rails off my garage walls. Very disappointed.
