If you're looking for a slick, sleek look and peace of mind knowing you can store gear/valuables then the Gator SRX Roll-Up is a great choice. Installation wasn't that hard but I did take my time, read and re-read each step and just enjoyed the whole process. The roll-up already did it's job this past weekend. Fishing poles, tackle backpack, ice chest, folding chairs & a duffel bag were securely stored in the bed while the family & i walked around Mission Bay/Mission Beach in San Diego. No need to throw all the gear in the front & rear seats of my double-cab long bed Tacoma. Materials & hardware for the tonneau are sturdy & strong. Hope to get many years of good use.
Really liked the inside the bedrail mounting system. Looks good installed and anyone with any skill can assemble this with a little effort. The fit was a bit tight on my truck, but I would rather it be a bit tight than loose. I suspect it will relax a bit over time. I'm sure you could find a less expensive cover, but I doubt you will find one with better quality for the price. I would rate the cover even higher if it holds up as well as some of the competitors. I put a more expensive version of a competitors on a different truck and it held up great for over 15 years.
I just purchased this cover and received today ! First of all I want to say what a great affordable product! Instalation was very easy for my first ever install, also fit like a glove ! Definitely love the lower profile , feels very sleek ! Also the tension was very nice , pulled the vinyl tight ! Would recommend for the price and quality !
I had a gator on my ram and it was still looking good after 7 years when I traded for my ridgeline. Easy deceicion to go with another. Very easy install and clear improvement on design. Showed up with missing driver side end cap but real truck had the part to me within 48 hours. Took me about an hour to install myself. Probably 20 min if I had help.
I chose this cover because I installed a sports/roll bar on my Colorado. Typical easy install for this type of cover. Looks good with the bar and seam to function well in wet weather. At least in my application i have to unlatch the rear piece in order to close my tailgate. However this does make a good seal with the tailgate.
Tonneau cover arrived quickly and was exactly as expected. It installed easily with included instructions and has been doing a great job now after a few months! The price on this one is a highlight for me. I just needed something utilitarian while I decided exactly what I want to do longer term for protection of stuff in the bed. This cover has really worked well and the price was very attractive.
I'm more than happy with the tonneau. Install was a 15 minute deal, that included removing the old tonneau masters cover and frames. The only thing I have noticed is that the vinyl tarp seems thinner than that I have had in the past, I don't think is necessary a bad thing, but I will be interested to see how it performs in the cold and snow.
Purchased and installed in July ‘24. The cover was easy to install, looks nice and functions perfectly. Customer service was called because of a 6” spot on the cover, but they quickly informed me how to clean it off without damaging the cover. I'd buy the same one again.
The top is nice. Rolls up from one side. I like that it latches in and is even with the bed rails not on top of them. The only issue was the vinyl was slid into the front bar upside down. Luckily I caught it before trying to install it.however this meant it was rolled backwards so I couldn't just unroll like the directions said.The instructions were not crystal clear but anyone with a little patience should be able to figure them out.
This is my 2nd Gator cover. 1st was on an '06 Ranger. Fit on the new cover is better and the new trigger system is an Improvement. Truck bed has a spray on liner which made installation more difficult as threaded bolt holes were compromised. Overall, however it's a gr8 cover. Good value for money and I would it and Real Truck to anyone in the market for a roll-up cover.
