i recieved rotten potatoes in my delivery. not only did they smell bad, they were soft and oozing gross slime. how can not see the black spots, the shriveled areas, the oozing slime and most of all, the smell! not only should my grocery puller have chosen these, they should never have been available for them to pull in the first place!
The description of the potatoes I ordered said “baking potatoes “ showing a large potato, the potatoes I received were small like what you get in a 5lb bag of Russets. I was making baked potatoes as our main course with all the fixins on top for dinner. Needless to say I had to change our dinner menu last minute. The grocery pickers should be trained in product descriptions.
this potato come out of one of the 10 lb bags and it is a very small potatoes they are a SAD excuse for a potato I would not have got a potato like this for baking so why the heck did they give it to me it's stupid . I put a picture of them they are not much bigger than a Bic lighter a baking potato should be at least 4 in in diameter and maybe five six inches long not little bitty potatoes I will never order baking potatoes again because apparently the pickers just get it out of a 10 lb bag and don't give a crap about which one they get pretty darn sad
Why??? WHY can there not be some sort of quality control for the dang potatoes? Every time I shop I stupidly buy walmarts dang potatoes and every single time they are green. Like not just a little tint of green. No, they are GREEN. This is really getting to be obscene. Sick of throwing money away.
They picked out the smallest potatoes they could find. i ordered the Baker's potatoes because they are bigger. they aren't even big enough to use as baked potatoes for a dinner. Plus there were several that weren't even usable. If i wanted tiny potatoes i would have just ordered a 5Lb bag.
Used to teue bakeing potatoes were almost the size of a standard size NFL football. NOW you need 30-40 of them to make a decent sized batch of potato salad. Quality and size of potatoes have has, sadly went WAY down while price has gone up. I buy the biggest potatoes walmart sells because i dont want to atand in my kitchen for an hour peeling 30 potatoes when i should only need 8. Very sad!
Every one of the russet potatoes arrived green. I can't/won't feed my family toxic potatoes. Studies show that a 16-oz (450-gram) fully green potato is enough to make a small adult ill. Cooking does not destroy the solanine toxin that is in potatoes that have turned green.
I ordered just 2 baking potatoes and I received one potato that was rotten, smelly, and mushy! It was so obvious that this was a horrible pick! This is the second time I've received a rotten potato, so I won't be ordering potatoes from Walmart again.
This is the 2nd time I've ordered baking potatoes snd the 2nd time I've been disappointed! These are the littlest potatoes I've ever seen. No way these are baking potatoes. Will order somewhere else.
I asked for baking potatoes and got four tiny potatoes, please do better with produce. They were terrible. They ought to be ashamed to put that in my order.
