I'm impress with this product, properly applied is amazing, lot of other similar products don't really strip the paint, this does and even from wood.
I used this on an ATV plow that I had to weld onto a self-made ATV plow mount bracket. This removed the powder coat on both the plow and the ATV frame. Use lacquer thinner after for a clean surface. FYI- THIS CAN IS IN THE AUTO DEPT., NOT PAINT SECTION.
Used on a set of hubcaps and it worked really well
I am refurbishing a Commercial Fitness machine. These machines have baked powder coated paint. I needed to remove paint from the plate loading pin (Think Steel Bar) of this Leg Extension machine. I sprayed on it, and 4 minutes later, I saw paint starting to bubble. I took a metal putty knife and scraped a large layer of paint like butter. I then sprayed some more and waited 15 minutes. This time I was able to remove 95 % of the paint, and bare metal was exposed. Rest of the paint came of by applying your everyday laquer thinner.
It works very well.
I sprayed it on 3 airplane and they are all still there. It did not remove any of them.
i sprayed an entire can on an engine block that only had a handful of original paint blotches on it and it barely did anything even after a half hour. block had been pressure washed and dried prior, so it was not grease or oil preventing the stripper from contacting the paint. this stuff is a waste of time and money.
