This stuff works great! It was super easy to apply and does exactly what it says!!! Down side is that you can't store left over paint for another time because you have to use it within one hour of mixing. Other than that though it is a great product!
I applied FOUR coats and waited a full week for it to dry before writing. It been about 6 months of use and it works just fine. Might recoat it in a year's time. But for now, its just fine.
Should have looked for reviews before trying this product. With more reviews as poor and only one excellent we would have avoided the heart ache. With a brand new basement we had a portion of the wall framed so that we can create a really nice visual for our daughters whiteboard. Followed all the directions from prime to finish! BUST! Not just once but twice. Wished we would have saved out receipt. We want our money back. We now need to deconstruct that portion of the new basement wall then go and purchase a REAL whiteboard to hang.
We purchased 10 cans of this product and followed all recommended application instructions. Added multiple coats, sanded, waited repeated process and markers leave a trace. This product should be removed from Walmart shelves. It was obviously never tested by Walmart. We are so disappointed. Please do not buy. Walmart if your listening- drop them. Sorry guys. You are selling something and claiming it works and it doesn't.
We did everything exactly as instructed, and this does not work. Whiteboard markers cannot be erased and leave bright, strong marks even after being wiped repeatedly then being cleaned with whiteboard cleaner. Don't waste your money, this product doesn't work.
My expectations were high. I followed directions exactly and let it cure four days. The dry erase marker leaves smudges after it is erased--and even after it is wiped with a moist cloth.
The marks do not come off this paint. It does have a shelf life.
Based on my outcome of this product I can only report that it is a complete waste of time and money, and you may have to deal with wall damage when it decides to peel off. Not a coincidence were their paint was put, problems occurred.
I just carefully sanded down a large wall and painted a nice primer recommended by Rustoleum. I applied four coats of this paint and let it dry for days.....and it simply doesn't work. I honestly believe it was easier to remove marks off my original latex paint than it is to remove from this mess. There should seriously be a class action against this company. I lost a week and potentially damaged my wall.
