The only major disappointment with the order is that it did not come in black. like the description states. I reluctantly accepted the product anyway. and I am please with the color, Cobblestone. even though it wasn't what i expected.
followed directs 100% and did not dilute, 2 coats then went on long week end, loved the finished look upon returning but shortly after coating peeled. may redo / can you put a shine Polyurethane coat on this??
I finished my counter with this product about 9 months ago. While I was initially pleased with the results, I have since become disappointed. The paint has consistently chipped, even though I have been very mindful re: not placing hot objects directly on counter, nor do I have a habit of cutting on surfaces other than a cutting board. I would not recommend this product.
The paint sagged on any vertical or diagonal surfaces, like the backsplash. I tried to keep brushing it smooth while it was drying, but it still sagged very badly. I will have to sand and re-do the entire surface.
If you need black do not order this. Because the item they ship you is the one in the picture not the one described.
