This product is great for all uses exclamation priming wooden stairs, tile floor, furniture... You name it!
Great product at a good price from a good company. Very good customer service. Will continue to purchase from you. Thanks.
I found that Zinsser's oil-based primer quality is inconsistent. The 1-Quart can I bought (from another store) did not "feel" like it's oil-based, it "feels watered-down" when I was brushing it on my project (old 2x4 wood boards). So I was disappointed with the 1Q can quality (from another store). This 1 Gallon can that I ordered from Walmart and fulfilled by Zoro has better quality than the 1Q can. It brushes on thicker and meets my expectations!
The best! Used this for the past 7 months. Taking a home with dark brown stained trim and remodeling it all to white...including doors. This product totally works. No bleed through. (I do lightly sand and wipe down with bleach water to make sure the wood is really clean before I start painting the primer.) Excellent product and worth a little extra.
The product was promised within 2 days. Delivery took 5 days which stalled my project by 7 days (had to wait for the next weekend to work on my project). IMPORTANT! The description of the product does not say "DOES NOT WORK ON DECKS"! On the can of primer paint it says the equivalent of does not work on decks or any other horizontal boards that are subject to a lot of rain or high humidity. I would not have bought this primer paint if I had known that this primer does not work on deck boards. I did not return the product and I did use it on my deck boards just as an experiment (since I had already treated all my deck boards with a copper naphthenate wood preservative).
