It's huge well worth the money my daughter is going to be so happy
My daughter wanted this so bad so I finally got it for her. Its a very nice toy but if you dont put the coins in a certain way, it don't 'read' it. So even tho you put 3 coins in, it only acknowledges 2 which makes my daughter a lil frustrated considering she is counting the coins as she go so she be confused when she need 3 coins but have to put in 4. Also sometimes it doesnt vend the product, it just takes your money. I kind of like it because that's how some vending machines are in real life but again, my daughter gets a lil frustrated when we have to put 4 MORE coins inside. ;; ALSO OPENING THE BACK IS SO DIFFICULT!! I have to use scissors just to get the coins out from the back.
Super cute idea for a toy and my 4-year-old loves it. However, as other reviewers have noted, the vending is very finicky... items were getting stuck (especially the fruit snacks) and not coming out. The coin door doesn't stay closed so we had to tape it shut. Also, when putting coins in it worked about every other time we tried it. The X button also got stuck and would not push out. The vending items were also very difficult for him to open. Adult supervision definitely needed to help play with this!
Bought this for my sons 6th birthday! Overall it's a great toy, only reason why I didn't give 5 stars is because we did not receive the chips container, instead we got double juice containers. So we can't use the chip vending button since the slot is empty plus it makes us miss the surprises (we can't complete the rest of Ryan's body and didn't get slime).
We got this for our 6yo girl for Christmas. She loves it. However, we've had nothing but issues since opening it! She tried to use it without the surprises inside, but they wouldn't vend out! The fruit snacks one didn't work it all unless you push them down as it's supposed to vend. The other ones worked fine after we put the surprises back inside. Oh, and we had to tape some of the things shut (with things inside) because they would open up in the machine and it wouldn't work.
My son was so excited to receive this as a gift but it was a total let down. Most of the buttons don't work, the "surprises" are plastic fruit but for the most part they won't come out of the machine unless you dump it over.
Santa got this for my daughter only to find out it's defective. All it does it's takes the coins and it will not dispense anything. I've try following the instructions about resetting it but no luck. She was so excited too! I attached some photos of the product itself, just in case someone wanted to know what it looked like outside of box. It had potential but just will not dispense anything.
My son begged for this for Xmas. He LOVES Ryan's world. We did everything by the instructions to ensure it worked properly. We couldn't get one thing to vend. I reset the machine per what the instructions said. Still didn't work. I unscrewed the back and took the batteries out and put them back in (like in the 80s) and still didn't work, but then the score that locks in the pack piece that goes over the batteries wouldn't even screw closed and that just falls off. My son was super disappointed. I then read reviews, as when I bought it the reviews were good, now I'm seeing this is a common problem. :( I will be contacting customer service.
Don't waste your money on this poorly made non functioning garbage. I will NEVER buy another Ryan's world piece of junk. It's all crap and either is poorly made or contains tiny pieces of overpriced junk. This thing has noise and lights up but doesn't actually vend anything which is important to know when buying a toy vending machine.
My son opened this up for christmas. loves Ryan's world! The Ryan mini figure was broken. The machine doesnt work right ether. very disappointing.
