I started using this when my daughter was 3 months and we have used it every night for the past 2 months. I sleep well knowing that she can't get tangled up in a blanket but is still nice and warm. I love it so much I purchased a second one in the next size up!
Great for a baby who kicks and moves around alot. I feel that my baby is safe when I put her to bed. Bottom zip helpful but I would prefer snaps. Material is a bit thin but seems to keep baby comfortable. Overall I do recommend this product and wish I had purchased it sooner.
The sleep sack lets us all sleep better. Baby stays warm through the night and I don't have to worry about her having kicked off all of her covers. I also like that the zipper pull is at the bottom, close to her feet, so it isn't poking her in the face.
The wearable blanket was exactly what I was looking for to keep my daughter warm during sleep without having to us blankets. It only took my daughter a little over a week to adjust from being swaddled and now she loves the freedom. The zipper is a little hard to attach correctly when in the dark and she is moving but usually this is not a problem.
My daughter would gasp for airand panic when she was very small if any part of a blanket even touched her face. My friend gave me a sleeper for my daugher soon after she was born. We have purchased and used them ever since. My daughter in 9 months old. We even bought lighter weight sleepers for the summer months. We put her in the sleeper when we put on her pj's so we don't have to get her in it if she falls asleep while feeding, although it has not really been a problem zipping her in while she is asleep. I just bought 2 more for this winter that are heavier weight. Wal-Mart has the best price I have found.
Very warm and cozy sleep blanket. Actually runs big for most. We bought a 6-12m since my daughter is in a 9 month sleeper. When ordering I thought we would not be in this for long but it is much longer than expected. The only problem I have encountered is the arm holes seem to be a touch to small.
I recently purchased two Halo sleep sacks for my twins, after I found my son with his blanket over his face one morning. I have only received one sack so far, but the one I have been using has been good. The sizing was correct (not always true with baby products) and it is easy to put on and take off. I can often put it on without really waking him up. My only worry is that the zipper might break, it has split apart before but I was able to zip it back up.
I did not learn how to swaddle and I was worried about using blankets in the crib because of SIDS. So this was very useful in keeping my baby warm at night. I don't know if there is an item like this with long sleeves or not but that would be the only thing I recommend for this item (for the winter).
I love the fact that my daugther stays warm at night, and I don't have to worry about blankets. My daughter seems to be comfortable in the wearable blanket. She always knows it's bed time when I am putting it on. The only think I do not like about it is the fact that if you don't put it on before she goes to sleep, she may wake up while trying to put it on because you have to put her arms through the sleeves. Otherwise I highly recommend if you want to get a good nights sleep with no worries.
The zipper zips from top down, which seems a little backwards to me. If you picture a hooded sweatshirt and how it zips up from the bottom up, this zips from the neck down to the toes. The armholes are small. If you have a baby who is starting to look like the Michelen Man (sp?), I would be a little concerned. Frankly, I bought big so my daughter could fit into it this winter. She has 2 Gerber sleepsacks that do not have either of these issues and I will probably buy more of the Gerber brand unless I see the product in the store first. This purchase was a clearance item online so I can't complain too much for what I paid AND it's still better than a blanket.
