This mirror works great in our family car, a 300m. It does not have a headrest in the midlle of the back seat. This way I can see my baby girl while I'm driving. The mirror is also large enough were I don't have to squint to see her.
easy to install. i can see my baby at all times. i love this product.
This product does help me see my child. It is not a perfect view, as show in the advertisement. It takes some getting used to. My child is in the center so the mirror distacts me from checking traffic in my rear view mirror. Something I did not think about it does not work at night. Overall, it is very helpful.
It can take a little time to set up and is easily moved when bumped into. But the mirror is very wide and easy to see the baby once it's set up.
I love the fact that at any given time I can look back and see my daughter, but once you get it in the right place, DON'T MOVE IT. I took mine off once to let the back seat down and it has never stayed on good sense. And I never did figure out how to hook it on, I just stretch it as far as it will go and velcro it and hope it doesn't pop off.
I love this product. When I am driving by myself I can see the baby perfectly as long as I remember to put the handle down on the car seat (that is a problem if I want to hang toys off of the handle) I drive a Honda Accord.....but my husband drives a Mazda Tribute and he was not able to get it to work in his car.
this is a good mirror because it is so big. much easier to see your baby. However it was hard to get it in the exact location we needed and it broke in the first week or so. I had to use a large twist tie to fix it. I used this with baby #1 and now #2 is on the way. I purchased the rainforest auto mirror with lights/remote for this baby. My first baby didn't like the car at night! We'll see which is better.
I LOVED this item and was happy to get it for a shower gift- but I was too impatient to read the instructions before I tore it out of its package to install in my car and now I have a mirror that I cannot use. Just make sure it fits your type of vechile before buying or taking out of package- my car doesnt have headrests in back seat to install this on so now I am stuck with this mirror and no way to use it :(
The mirror was very difficult to install and would not maintain the correct angle to view the baby. We have a Toyota that has pretty basic backseats and headrests, but it was almost impossible to attach in a stable way. One bump and it moved. Then the whole thing melted. We live in a hot state but come-on, this was made to be in a car! The whole mirror shriveled up and the rest of the mirror turned opaque and doesn't even produce a reflection anymore.
We do not have backseat headrests in our car. There are adhesive pads that can be used to stick the mirror to the seat, but the glue used for those melted and made a big mess. This did not work for us. I'm sure it is great for cars with backseat headrests, but otherwise I would not recommend it at all. Very disappointing.
