The gate was easy to install and provides sturdy security for our stairs.
I like this style of gate. I had the older version for my kids, and now dogs, and replaced it with this equally competent version. My only quibble is that I wish it would have come with plastic wall anchors (which it recommends for screw not going into studs, which I did already have on hand), but it's otherwise strong enough to prevent a 55 lb dog from rushing the outside door.
Was fairly easy to install. Love that it does not have that bottom trip bar because we needed to install ours off of the ground about 4 to 6 inches so our cats could go under but the dog and of course the baby, cant get under it. This one was perfect!!! very sturdy and easy to install!!
After reading another review that said the screws came out of the wall, I was fully prepared to have to reinforce the screws. To my surprise, however, the gate held up nicely without any additional support. We have had it installed for over a month, and our toddler has even shaken the bars on several occasions. The screws have not moved at all. We are very happy with this gate. It is easy to open (for an adult) and it fits in well with our decor.

This gate screws into the walls! My dogs can knock down pressure-mounted gates so this one is a great alternative!!
Easy to install
We have a 4-level-split house, so strong, reliable gates is a must in our house! We have tried many different style gates and the new Everywhere Gate is my favorite! The easy to adjust tabs ensured that we got a tight, strong fit (which my son quickly tested by standing on it shortly after we got it installed). It fully expands the entire width of the doorway without having to add on any extension parts. We love that there's no bottom lip to worry about tripping over (especially my parents and grandparents when they come visit), and my son loves that he can still easily drive his cars etc through when the gate is open. Compared to other gates that we own, one big pro is that this gate doesn't narrow the walking space, since it mounts right to the door jambs - no annoying screw in disks that you can never remember which way to turn, or that come loose and slip along the wall. Lastly, the ease of opening with one hand - but tricky enough that my 2 year old can't figure it out-is well constructed. Bonus - the gate swings both ways! The only small con is that you do need to mount it to the wall using screws (which are included), so if you aren't wanting to put holes in your wall, this wouldn't be an ideal design. They are super small though and would be easy to fill/patch later. Would definitely buy this gate again!
Im expecting this item to arrive today and I just checked and says CANCELLED. How is that possible, I need this gate for my toddlers. Im VERY ANGRY right now with this service!>
The hinges are made of plastic and the lower hinge came broken. Thanks to the fact that it comes “ready to install” which I thought would be so convenient I didn't see that it was broken until I had already screwed 8 screws into my walls. When I called customer service they told me to return it to the nearest Walmart for a refund. The entire reason I purchased this online was so that I didn't have to go to the store. Walmart made no effort to make this right. Target never has you return an item if it is broken and on top of that they offer a discount for a future purchase for the inconvenience. Shame on safety first for using flimsy plastic on their TOP of STAIR baby gates!
