I'm very impressed with this carseat. You can't beat the price, and it's the same quality as some of the more expensive carseats out there! My kiddo loves how comfy and soft it is. It isn't bulky at all, and comfortably fits both cup holders on each side. Would recommend this carseat to someone that is trying to fit more than one carseat in their vehicle. Love it
I got this Disney baby Jive 2-in-1 convertible car seat for my SUV and it fits perfectly. My baby is 35 lbs and he fits perfectly in this car seat. The best thing is there is still room when he grows more. The pattern is really pretty with Mickey Mouse prints all over. The black with red lining is just perfect for my car. My baby loves Mickey Mouse and he is very happy with his car seat. The drink holders are very sturdy and easy to snap on. The quality of the car seat is very good. It is very easy to clean as well. I'm very happy with car seat and I recommend this to everyone.
This carseat came well packed. I was impressed already during unboxing. The fabric was soft and smooth. The carseat fitted sturdy next to the sibling's other carseat in the middle. My son sat very comfortable and low in the seat. He was very happy since it was Disney themed as well. I would totally recommend if a budget friendly, good carseat is needed! The only annoying part was it was hard to adjust the straps for a bigger child. That took the most time during setup
First I would like to thank Safety First for this great car seat in return for my honest review. This is not my first car seat by far. This is one of many car seats ive owned over the course of having 4 children. What i love about it is the ease of use and it being light weight. Some car seats do not fit if you have to put three across but this one first perfect. It has all the safe with all the ease of use. The padding has a nice simple clean design. My kid loves it. I also love the dual cup holders as one can be used for drink and one for a snack.
Thanks to Buzz Agent for sending me the Safety First Baby Jive car seat to try out free for an honest review! I'll start by saying, my 1yr old wild child hates everything about ANY carseat, except for the large box that is delivered in. It's a total fight EVERY.SINGLE.TIME! So.. I wasn't able to get a decent picture of her buckled up in the seat for the review. However, we did defeat the beast a few times to get a good review. The car seat is a great quality! The padding is thick, soft for comfort but firm for protection. It hugged around her body just right and the adjustable head/body pillow gave extra support for her upper body and head. The fabric is soft and smooth, which is not only nice and breathable for her skin but allows easy wet cloth spot cleaning. The carseat also has not only 1 but 2.... 2! Cupholders, that are detachable and top rack dish washer safe! (I wish my car cupholders did that!) The car installation was a breeze! The instruction book that was included, is very detailed and broken down for you step by step. Safety First even has a YouTube channel with videos, showing the proper way to install their various seats/products, just in case you get stuck. Between the instruction booklet and YouTube channel you can feel confident that the seat is installed properly. Also, inside of the instruction book, you can find other important safety information, such as the weight/height limits on the rear facing, how to adjust all the harness straps, even information on installing on an airplane. The only thing that we did notice was the the red button that is used to release the harnesses from around her was a little tough to push. The buckle was not jammed or stuck, its just you have to pressed down pretty hard to get it to release. This comes as a blessing and curse. Our "old age" hands tought it was tough but on the flip side of that, We never had to worry with our toddler being able to unbuckle herself ,Which she would totally do! We Loved it!
This is a really amazing car seat for the price! It is light and super easy to install! We have 2 graco car seats and this one is not nearly as bulky as those. It's the perfect size for my (small) 3 year old. I don't think it would be good for any older than that as my 4 year old was way too big for it. But, definitely a great first big kid car seat!
I received this product in exchange for my honest opinion. I really like this car seat. It's very lightweight. After getting it installed, which took me a little longer than usual, it's pretty easy to use. It fits great in my car. It's made with good quality. I love that it has cup holders. It seems like it will be easy to clean. I really like that it's convertible, so I can use it for both my kids (ages four and one). My kids like it too. It's very comfortable for them. Overall, I feel like it will provide good protection. My little ones love Disney, so this was perfect for them!
This car seat is an affordable option for parents searching for a seat that'll grow with their child through their infant years to 1st/2nd grade (based on their height and weight). My first impression was that it would be comfortable and spacious enough for my child to grow into. The seat is also slim enough to rival our other slim car seat that's fits 3-in-a-row. I also appreciate the two cup holders, which will fit standard sippy cups or hold pencils, markers, and crayons. The biggest qualm I have is that my seat arrived with the straps confusingly intertwined and threaded through one another, which was frustrating. The seat also came as two separate pieces, and it took a few minutes for me to understand how to connect them together. Overall, I would say this seat was not as intuitive for me to set up in terms of the two pieces and intertwined straps, when compared to our other seats. This would not be a prohibitive factor in recommending it to other parents though. I just highly suggest reading your instruction manual before installation. The upside is that the seat fits in our Toyota Sienna minivan and in our Corolla. The seat is moderately weighted, unlike my steel-frame car seat, which is too cumbersome to travel with. I appreciate that tightening/loosening the straps is not difficult. The button to press down while pulling or loosening the strap is plainly in sight whereas some other brands hide theirs under a flap, which I don't like. As a disclaimer, I received this product through the Stellar Product Panel Testing to review, but my opinion is my own. Overall, I give this seat four stars. It is a good and affordable option.
Received the car seat about a week ago and got it installed for my daughter. The installation took me a little while as there is a learning curve but isn't too difficult. You do have to adjust the harness position to your child's size before strapping the car seat in which could get annoying when you have to adjust it as your child grows. I used the LATCH system to attach this car seat and it was pretty straightforward and easy. My daughter looked comfortable in the car seat. My only complaint is that the cup holders didn't seem to snap in very well. Overall not a bad car seat for the price. Installs easily
Being on our third child, we know that certified car seats are all going to meet the base needs. It then comes down to functionality. More moving parts just make it harder to install and remove. This model is relatively simple and she loves the Mickey emblem on the back as well as the hidden Mickeys all over. The squared off shape gives plenty of room for growth. Only two pieces of the seat were not completely to my liking. The angle adjustment hinge contacts the seat of your car over a small area. This leads to deep depressions when the seat is taken back out. A flat base that pivots leaves fewer marks and doesn't require strapping it down as tight. The other item is the angle indicator. I agree that adding a bubble level to the seat is a bit overkill, but a line on a sticker can come off quickly. An embossed line with text would be permanent, cost effective, and not require adjustment to the structural design of the seat.
