I love it! The best money I've spent in a while! I got it for my kitten, cause she was able to open my bedroom door and since I live in an apartment with maintenance coming in and stuff I didn't want her getting out.
I bought this as a gift for a friend whose kid learned how to inlock the door and was walking right out of the house. Easy to install and I love the decoy button. This product was a lifesaver, 10 stars!
they stick really well. I have tried to remove them but i think they are a permanent fixture now. No longer the days of crotch monsters going into the bathroom to create an indoor waterpark.
This product is fantastic for keeping our sneaky 3yr old from secretly escaping into the backyard. Our front door is sticky and heavy, plus it has a deadbolt but our backdoor can be easily opened by our little backyard runaway. This lock took 2 seconds to install and she has not figured out how to open it. The fake button on the bottom is so smart, our toddler constantly presses it!
Excellent product when you have little terribles. 100% recommended
These are amazing for an escape artist toddler. The fake out button works amazingly and even if they do figure out the real way, it would take a lot of coordination for a toddler to pull that off. Works great for our 3 year old!
Just what I needed to stop my babies from going out the house
It does a great job locking the handle, the only reason I took off a star was because the handle does crash with the back piece of the lock a bit. It doesn't interfere with the function but it does get in the way a bit you have to be sure you slightly push the handle up to get it back in its normal position.
We installed this on my son's closet door because it opened into the closet & not outward into the room. Door needs to be completely shut in order to work. You need both hands to open the lock. With our lever handles, the lock needs to be fully disengaged. I think it would work really well on slimmer handles.
This lock was very simple to install and was able to keep my very smart 2 year old from opening doors. However, now that he's 4 and we no longer need it, it is impossible to remove. There are no videos or instructions anywhere about how to remove it. Luckily I only put them on 2 doors in the house and not all of them.
