MATTRESS: Nice and firm, like a new sofa cushion. Lightweight and fully reversible. No odor. See picture for mattress innards: solid, thick/dense mass of mixed fibers, bonded evenly and tightly. Cannot speak to longevity, but I sat, laid, and walked all over it, with no ill-effect. MATTRESS PROTECTOR: Super soft/smooth and quiet to the touch; well constructed, snug/fitting; water resistant, thick, dense fabric; tightly embossed “quilting.” I will still use a flat protective liner for daily bed changes. Cover unzips all the way around; zipper tab deeply hidden inside long, thick fabric “tube”; which requires a long skinny “anything” to probe in, lift the zipper tab and unzip; So not accessible to little fingers. PACKAGED/shipped very well; wrapped in sealed, thick plastic; inside reinforced corners-cardboard box; inside fitted, heavy brown paper. Will be used at grandmas house for grandkid visits.
I got this mattress for my granddaughter who stays with me quite often while her parents work. I was familiar with name so I decided to give it a try and so glad I did. The mattress came quickly and once out of the box and plastic off, I was able to place it right in my crib. Fit perfectly as it should. The true test was once I put the sheet on it, it was baby's turn to try it out. She slept like a baby lol. Right through the night which was different from her pack and play and mattress was firm so nothing changed as baby laid on it. No sagging and stayed in position because of the great fit. I tried this mattress as part of a promotion for my honest opinion
This mattress is for my granddaughter's crib, and it is very well made. The mattress is firm, but soft. I would recommend this to anyone with an infant who needs to sleep comfortably.
Safety 1st Peaceful Lullabies Crib Mattress is very nice. It's sturdy yet soft. It fits week in the crib or toddler bed. My boys both like the feel. I love that l. It will stand up to the test of two boys just fine. Saftey first is a solid brand and a go to in our house for baby products anyways. This crib mattress is everything you need in a crib mattress. Truely a good mattress that won't be trash after one kid.
I have had 8 children and this new one will be sleeping in style! This mattress had no fumes when taken out of the package (love) then the feel of it is so soft I wanted to lay on it! It is firm enough to be safe for even a preemie yet soft enough to be comfy through to the transition to twin bed or toddler whatever you prefer. It also fits standard crib sizes perfect, we only buy Graco because they use the non-toxic finishes.....Love This Mattress!
I ordered the safety 1st crib and toddler mattress after finding out my niece is expecting in January. Although I do not have first hand experience of sleeping on this mattress, I can see the quality and detail in the workmanship. Ease of maneuverability and light color outer covering make this mattress an eye appealing asset. The outer covering features a zipper for quick removal to wash and keep clean. Made without flame retardant chemicals is a big plus for me. It has a 15 year limited warranty. The mattress fits standard size cribs and has a 50 pound maximum rating. Sealed in protective plastic and shipped in tough cardboard material, my mattress arrived fast and in mint condition.There is a floral print pattern woven into the outside shell giving it a warm and luxurious feeling The mattress has a fresh clean smell and comes with a registration card to send in to set up warranty details and time of purchase. I would recommend this mattress to anyone looking to purchase one. I hope this helps you to understand better the product and its use.
I must say this mattress is super firm. I run a child care from my home so I'm always looking for quality items so they will last. I was really surprised at how firm this mattress is. I put it down on the floor and I laid on it myself and I'm a big girl and this mattress didn't budge it didn't dip it did not cave in under my weight. I need to get a mattress made from this material for my personal bed. I have an area that I keep prepared for the children in case someone gets ill while at day care I had purchased a toddler bed and needed a quality mattress so when this came it was perfect. I have kids up to the age of 10 and I can see this mattress holding up to their weight. I mean the mattress is really really firm any baby would be lucky to have this in their crib.
My boy is 16 months old and he was sleeping on a expensive spring mattress with a vynil top before and wpuld wake up multiple times a night. The first night he slept on that mattress he slept the whole night not even waking up once!! Baby sleeps better also means parent sleeps better! Absolutly worth the price ! The mattress came to the store with the plastic broken so it was really dirty i had to clean and dry it for a day, besides that i would buy again !
Received this mattress free for my honest review. The soft textured fabric cover zips off for easy laundering. The mattress is quite firm so no chance of baby sinking into mattress. It fits in crib snugly so no chance of it sliding around or baby getting stuck between bed & mattress. I'm using this for my beloved little grandson so I would never use it if I thought there was any chance of him being harmed. Also fits toddler bed, per package. I would recommend this to family & friends.
Lightweight and firm enough to NOT conform to baby's head (lowers risk of SID syndrome). Often baby mattresses will have double firmness, a firm side for infants, and a less firm side for toddlers. This mattress has only a single firmness. (I prefer double firmness.) There are no apparent chemical smells even upon first opening the box. The mattress comes with a removable poly/bamboo rayon blend cover for laundering! Has not shrunk or stretched out, or shown signs of wash-n-wear. (I like the cover more than I like the mattress!) I didn't notice that the wool fibers of the mattress made the mattress any more 'moisture wicking', which is claimed somewhere on the insert. The mattress has square corners so the fit is nice and tight along the sides and corners.
