[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this item from the Stellar Product Testing Panel in exchange for my honest review and I cannot express how glad I am that I did. My son is 2 and had seen me cleaning our cat's litter box; which means he will copy that and try to fiddle with the litter box on occasion. We try to not close the door to that second bathroom because we want our cat to easily access the litter box. This gate solves that problem! It was very easy to follow installation instructions, the gate feels sturdy, and we appreciate the ability to choose where to use screws or adhesive keep the wall cups in place. The look of the gate is both functional and aesthetically pleasing. Our home has some exposed brick and wood floors, and the gate adds to the bit of the rustic vibe. It's not super high that my cat would struggle to jump over it, but it's high enough for us adults to walk over it without having to remove it. Overall, it's a great addition to help toddler-proof our home and I definitely recommend anyone with small ones use this Safety First doorway gate.

We had been looking for a new gate that is easy to transport, install, and remove and this is the one! This gate is very easy to adjust and install to keep the kids and dogs out of places they shouldn't be. This gate is very sturdy and surprisingly lightweight. I loved the darker color because it blended into our area better than a white gate! I would recommend this gate!
Good quality and good price. Using it to keep my 4 month old puppy enclosed in the kitchen. I anchors well, due to the wall cups. Once installed it stays put. The only downside is that it isn't easy to open and close, but it's not too tall so it's easy to climb over. For now I keep it up all the time, maybe as puppy gets older I can open and close it.
This gate is really pretty, as far as gates go. And it has the good latch on it. It hard to find them with this particluar latch so, when you do, buy it! This gate costs more but it does look much nicer.

It's much more attractive than any other gates I've seen on the market. It's short enough that I can step over it negating the need to open it one handed. I originally wanted to set it up at the top of stairs, but decided it wasn't the most functional place for it and put it in my kitchen. Set up is easy, but I wish it wasn't quite so permanent. I like to be able to move my gates as needed and unless I buy more wall cups and adhesive pads, it's staying there for good. It is tall enough to keep the baby in place, but if you have a large dog, it likely won't be a problem for them to get over. The only other thing to consider is if you have bulky baseboards, this will need to go above them. Mine are about 4 inches high, leaving a generous gap at the bottom.

The gate is made with a sturdy wooden frame that is stained grey, so the wood grain shows. The plastic grey colored lattice compliments the grey wooden frame. This nice nuetral color would be great with the current grey trend in home decor. The style of this gate is a very classic design with the wooden adjustable bar on the back. The most challenging part of this design for me is the bar latch. Challenging for me because I sometimes have issues with my hand strength and motor skills. This part is different than older models because the latch part indents over and under the cross bar. The indentations make the bar lock in place. To unlock I had to pull the latch apart. This would be a good feature for the precocious child or pet that can sometimes figure out how things work and open them anyway. A very strong child would be able to open this once they figure it out. This gate comes with wall cups to attach to doorways or wall. The cups are attached to the doorway with a screw, and come with circles of double sided tape to help with installation. The cups are also a new feature to prevent the gate from being pushed over. It is good to prevent the gate being pushed or falling over. The drawback is the cups limit where the gate can be used, as it only comes with one set of four cups. Screwing the cups into the doorway or wall will cause damage to those surfaces. Easy repair for a homeowner but might be costly for a renter. Seems to me, if I have to install the cups permanently. I would rather have a hinge on the gate or an accordion type gate permanently installed to eliminate the need to store the gate when not in use.

I feel like it is a good height and I liked the installation options for the walls so that I could accommodate the trim at the bottom of my walls. They were easy to install on the wall and held the gate well. Adjusting the gate was difficult at first and a little tricky, but I was able to secure it.

I loved the rustic/vintage wood look – it fits perfectly with the style of my home! I use it in my living room, nestled between my couches, as a way to keep my son in a contained space. The design is similar to a classic baby gate with a peg-like mechanism for adjusting the width. I will say the clasp is a bit difficult to unlatch. However, in all fairness, most gates aren't easy to open for child safety reasons. Overall, the gate was ready to use straight out of the box and was self-explanatory. I was very impressed with the aesthetics of this gate. It's refreshing to have modern, visually pleasing baby gate options available that can blend seamlessly into your home without sticking out like a sore thumb. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this gate from the Stellar Product Testing Panel, and I must say that the security gate is not what I expected. 1. The design is really stylist, contemporary and very sleek but upon closer inspection of it, the quality of this product came into questioning as the material seemed very fragile. This is a concern with a very active toddler who climbs a lot, however, it keeps the dog out. 2. The installation process was another concern, opening and securing it closed and well as locking it in place became more of a challenge than with ease. We tried to install the gate at the bottom of our stairs as to contain our toddler and dog downstairs or at the top of the stairs to keep them upstairs. In conclusion the security gate is appealing to the eyes but it seems to lack quality that can be improved on as well as it's usability can be improved making it much better
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This baby gate is a lack luster “updated” version of the “pinch your fingers off” gates that have been around for decades. I suppose it looks a tiny bit better but overall it is just as clunky and difficult to use. If you don't want to damage your walls by screwing in the cups that come with it you're pretty much guaranteed that your 15 month old will be able to rip it out in seconds. We attempted to use it to keep our 15 month old son out of the laundry room. Like I said, it only worked for about 30 seconds. I really didn't like it much at all. I do appreciate Stellar Product Testing Panel for giving us the opportunity to try it out!
