I don't know how this item has low stars on reviews. I've purchased them several times and they are always clean and delicious. Served them at dinner parties and everyone was happy to finish them all.
The clams were quite small and not as flavorful as I expected
I was anticipating a lovely dinner of clams and pasta. Unfortunately, the only 8 clams out of 2 dozen opened. The ones that did had a wonderful flavor, but it was so dissapointing to have so many left. I have cooked the mussels with wine, celery and tomatoes and they always come out perfectly, so it isn't that I don't know how to cook them.

Not what I ordered but I decided to give a try. Cooked all 24 at the same time and had to throw 2 away. One clam meat was black and full of dirt 💀 It's expected to have a little dirt and things but that grossed me out. Lol I would've rather have had my 6.22$ back instead of getting this as a substitute, but that part is my fault. Theyre not worth it compared to what I originally ordered. Too small and just meh.. I don't think I will ever purchase these by choice.
I did not want clams as a substitution for mussels. I tried to respond to the text announcing the substitution; but encountered technical issue response. I would like this product returned and/or my account credited.
Clams were very small and tough. All but one opened. However, no instructions on the box to tell me that I should not eat clams that do not open. By the time we got the black part off ( which I'm told is the foot of the clam and not good) there wasn't much left to eat. But eating clams is an experience - but better done with better clams.
Better off buying a can of baby clams. You would get more, and larger size. Very small
As a lifelong New Englander, I've enjoyed steamed clams many times. I decided to take a chance on this product, but I won't order it again. The clam shells were no bigger than a quarter, but the clams inside were actually smaller than a dime! All together the clams inside the box measured about ONE TABLESPOON in all. No kidding. If you're looking for clams for a dollhouse, these are the ones for you!
