i think a lot of people overlook this style because gas looks heftier or more substantial. i had a gas range while in an apartment awaiting my home construction and have cooked with it at friends. i previously had a dacor convection range with glass top. this product completely outshines gas, with it's fast heat up and full element contact creating even cooking. plus it is so easy to clean. i know you can scratch the surface so just be a little more careful moving pots and pans if you care about that. i couldn't be happier with this choice!
Simply put, this is an excellent cooktop. Installation was straight-forward and took very little time. The overall performance of the cooktop is also excellent. The "turbo-boil" elements are definitely much more powerful than the large burners on my old Kenmore Elite cooktop. My large rectangular griddle that came with my old Kenmore still works very well when placed over the two left burners even though they don't have the small bridge burner between them. I especially like that the large burner is located in the back half of the cooktop thus allowing all of the steam from a large pot of boiling water to be capture more efficiently by the vent hood. The only small negative is the placement and sensitivity of the "Smart Things" touch control. It is very easy to turn the option on/off by accident when cleaning the cooktop. It would have been better if it required touching the button for a longer period of time, like 10 secs, in order turn the feature on/off or enter setup mode. It's not that much of an issue with this model because you can't control the burners anyway, it only allows you to see the state of the burners.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Recently the Samsung 30" electric cooktop stove (Model NZ30K6330R) was installed. I just love it! The cooktop is slim, elegant and modern. The design of the cooktop is highly functional yet simple to operate. The 5 burners are a variety of sizes for various sizes of pots and pans. The various sizes improves the efficiency as I discovered making dinner last night. I was able to boil a large pot of water in half the time than it took me on my previous stovetop. Also, I am thrilled with the 2 "dual surface units". The dual surface units allow me the flexibility to use the burners with either a large pot/pan or small pot/pan. It was a true lifesaver when I hosted a family gathering last week. The flexibility of the burners allowed me to have several items on the stove at one time without a worry. I also love the control knobs that allow me to control the heat to the selected dual surface without much effort. I have struggled in the past to keep my stovetop clean after cooking a meal. With the Samsung Electric Cooktop cleaning is a breeze. When I had a spillover I immediately wiped the spill with a clean dry towel. After every use I simply wipe the cooktop down with minimal effort. I am totally thrilled with the Samsung Electric Cooktop! It has motivated me to once again open my recipe books and start cooking some of my old favorites!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently purchased and installed the black stainless 30” Samsung Cooktop. It has been a significant upgrade from my previous one. It has 5 burners instead of 4, it heats up faster, and it connects with my home network. Since installing it, I have used it daily and cooked everything from eggs for breakfast to full on meals for the entire family. It has never let me down. The design is sleek and has been a great addition to my kitchen. I have enjoyed their base model so much; I am seriously considering upgrading to the 36” Samsung Induction model. I would recommend this product to anyone who is looking for a new cooktop.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Samsung has done it again with a cooktop that has a bunch of new features which are very useful. Installation was simple and as expected from the specifications on the website prior to them arrive. They promised easy installation and they delivered. Some of my favorite features are the dual burners that are incredibly fast at boiling water, which most of us know usually takes a long time. On the flip side to that, the melting function is superb at not burning your chocolate or cheeses. Also having the 2 burners on the Left side stacked, where you can use a griddle or rectangular pan is very convenient. I love having the physical knobs to adjust the temperature on this model cooktop, but don't let that fool you this cooktop has plenty of smart features to satisfy your techy family members. To sum it up Samsung has once again given us a product that has all the modern convenience and beautiful appearance that we all expect from them.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We swapped from an older gas cooktop to a next generation Samsung electric cooktop and the look and capabilities of the Samsung are just what we expected. Similar to all of our Samsung products, the NZ30K7570RS/AA cooktop is solid. It's a sleek looking product that merges into our countertop and kitchen as if it was there from the very beginning. The heat it produces is unlike any other cooktop we have used before. Boiling water does not take near as long now as it did with our gas cooktop surprisingly. The entire platform is easy to use, clean, and keep looking brand new. I look forward to many future meals cooked on this desktop with the ease of cleanup afterwards. There are no heavy metal grates to deal with and the simple look of the product just looks so nice. Fantastic product.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This product is absolutely perfect. It is sleek, fits perfectly with an updated kitchen, and works great. It even has a smartthings integration which I didn't realize until after (perfect for when I can't remember if forgot whether I turned off the cooktop and not home). The color works great too since easy to keep clean and looks great. The entire cooktop from the knobs, to the burners, to the trim is very easy to clean since it is smooth. The fact that it is black also helps (our old Cooktop was white and that was harder). One thing I noticed immediately when I switched to this cooktop from my old GE was how quickly this Samsung cooktop heats up. It was actually very surprising in a great way. I had no idea that was even possible. The number of burners and the spacing between them is also exceptional and the fact that you can switch between burner size by moving the knobs left or right is the icing on the cake. I highly recommend this cooktop, very pleased! Amazing job Samsung!
