[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought two months ago and happy that it fitted existing counter opening. Pros: Easy Install. Looks modern. Easy to use and clean. Heats up and cool down quickly. Like Sync element and knob control. Cons: Shinny black color shows lint and dust easily. WiFi not useful as you can only see if burner is on or off only. Timer volume is low as I cannot hear with vent on. An improvement would be if timer linked to the WiFi. Over all happy with purchase.

Choose small or large pan on two burners, link the two left burners for a larger cooking space for griddle. Completely flat, sealed surface makes cleanup easy. Overall a great product.

It is very spacious with 5 surface elements that quickly heat up and are easy to control with Samsung's magnetic dial. It can be moved to each element's controls and dialed to the appropriate temperature. The two left elements can be synced to create a large heated element used by a griddle for cooking pancakes, bacon, etc. Two of the elements have a selectable pan size option as well. The glass cooktop is super easy to clean and has an awesome beveled edge that trims it out nicely. The unit easily connects to our Samsung SmartThings app, which controls and monitors many of our Samsung appliances. We love cooking on our new cooktop and find that we have more room than ever to prepare multiple items, and love how it looks in our kitchen!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My wife does most of the cooking in our home, except for breakfast on Sundays. When she received this, Samsung Cooktop, I had to immediately try it out with Sunday breakfast routine. The Sync Control, is definitely my favorite feature. We have a griddle, that I like to use, when I'm making waffles or pancakes, but we don't have a lot of cabinet space, to use it very often. The Sync Control, allowed me to combine two burners, so we were able to cook pancakes, while the bacon was cooking. I also love the magnet and digital control features. This allows you to control the settings digitally or by the use of the magnetic knob. Last, but definitely not least, is the Lock Option. This is a very important safety feature for me, this gives me the option to lock the cooktop completely. We have two small boys, so this absolutely gives me a sense of security. Overall, this is one of Samsung's Top Appliance's for me. I've tried several cooktops, from other brands and they didn't offer half the features, this cooktop has! I would definitely recommend this to all of my friends and family!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So everything definitely works as advertised. It's a fully functioned cooktop with all the features you could want. My absolute favorite is rapid boil. There's nothing worse than waiting for water to boil when you want a cup of tea or are trying to make some pasta or noodles. This is definitely a huge timesaver for us. I also loved the sync elements. We have a big long stock pot and having the heating elements sync makes it way easier to get a consistent temp throughout your pot. I tried the smart things and wifi connectivity, but I did not find it a useful feature. Maybe for some, but on a stove it just seemed like a needless extra. Now one critical thing would definitely be the sensitivity of the touch controls. If you even get a drop of water anywhere on them the whole stove shuts off. It's really annoying so now we just have to lock the touch pad whenever cooking. Other than that it's a great stove.
I have used the cooktop for a month now. The things my wife and I do not like. The cooktop controles are hard to read and adjust. They need to light up and stay lite so they can be seen when on. We both do not like the magnetic control knob its more of a gimmick. We find ourselves using our fingers to control the elements. The knob only works 50% of the time and is very frustrating. The heat levels are 1 to 15 on the elements. 1 to 10 changes the elements about 20% and 11 to 15 the other 80%. The cooktop really doesn't get all that hot on 15 and it takes forever to boil water. I have exclusive Samsung appliances and tvs in my house and never been disappointed but the product development team on this cooktop did not know what they were doing.
1 year 9 months old and I will not turn on. Worked great when it worked but now it's a shiny piece of glass.
I had a new one installed in october 2021.It has not been working well as the machine turns itself off randomly during normal cooking and the temperature would change by itself I called Samsung and explain this is a security problem and i told them that I want a change for another model but they don't care. I will be better off getting a new NON-Samsung cooktop to replace it.This is the quality of Samsung, surprised?
