[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The SAMSUNG 980 PRO SSD 2TB is a game-changer in the realm of solid-state drives. Its standout feature is the integration of PCIe 4.0, which significantly enhances data transfer rates, making it one of the fastest SSDs.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This drive is incredibly fast, efficient and reliable. I have been upgrading my laptop every few months as I fill drives with PC games and have not been disappointed a single time! I will never buy any other brand of SSD and the price doesn't matter to me when I get this good of quality. The Samsung magician software is awesome as well and it's great to be able to update firmware and change settings like turbo mode and there's a feature to keep 10% of the drive empty so it lasts longer. Very happy and plan to buy more for my next PC.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Been using this for my Xbox and it's one of the best SSD I ever use heck it's even better then the hard drive that's comes with the Xbox games load crazy fast
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Samsung 980 PRO PCIe® NVMe® SSD 2TB is exceptional. It offers lightning-fast read/write speeds, boosting system performance for gaming and editing. With advanced thermal control and 2TB capacity, it ensures reliability and ample storage. Highly recommended! Five stars!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love this drive. Very fast, and dependable. I'm doing projects about every other weekend. Either building someone's or fixing my own rig and samsung ssd's in general have been a mark above the rest. Without a doubt they are easy to install on most motherboards and all that I've worked on and any every console uses this type of ssd too. I've used it as an additional ssd and I've run whole operating systems off this stick without any issues with great speeds, it's powerful!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] SAMSUNG SSD'S are pretty much as good as it gets. They are top tier in speed/performance but what really sets them apart is long term reliability. I have been a victim to cheaper ssd's that appear to be just as good on paper only to have it completely die within the first year. Your hard drive isn't something you want to skimp on. If you want peace of mind then go with samsung 980 pro for your boot drive and 870evos for storage.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had this ssd in my pc for about 2 years now and it's been super fast and still have plenty of space left I have my windows os and I also save all my games to it and never have any issues with them loading up slow it's always super fast
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Samsung 980 Pro 2TB m.2 NVME SSD is a solid choice, (pun intended). This SSD is reliable and fast. The only thing better than this is the 990 Pro, which I will get around to upgrading to in the near future.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Been using this drive in my PC for years. This drive is crazy reliable as well as fast! Temps have always been not a concern as well. This is an amazing drive if you value a fast, reliable PC.
Brought this couple years ago for my Ps5. Had to look up this problem I'm having and Im not the only one with this problem. I go to play my Playstation. Turn it on. Im thinking there was an outage. My system reset and then went to repairing my SSD. Been trying to fix it and all even safe mode. Nothing worked. Really disappointed! Im still a Samsung fanboy but this has no fix and stays at 13% and thats it. Have to turn the system off. Just blows.
