I bought this phone at its marked down price knowing that Verizon does not lock their LTE phones. Sure enough, this phone was not locked and worked perfect with Straight Talk. So you can pay $45 to run on Verizon towers and get 5gb data at LTE and unlimited at slower. I like the phone a lot. When I looked at the Note 4, it really isnt much of a step forward and the Note 5 takes away the ability to use an external SD card. Awesome deal.
Mike's review is correct. I bought one of these and it arrived new in the box, and once I replaced the verizon sim with a straight talk sim...it worked perfectly. Great phone, huge upgrade over my previous s3 on Virgin Mobile/ Sprint. Excellent battery life, runs apps fast and has very fast Internet with 5gb of 4G LTE. May not be the latest Note model, but you'd never guess from the performance.
I looked for a long time for a note 3, 4 or even the new 5 and decided to buy this note 3 what a great choice! I also bought the extra 64 GB memory card. it is a prefect phone. it is lager than most phones but being able to write down notes and using the stylus is great. I have had this for a month now and cannot say a bad thing about it! and going thru Walmart was even better, quick and it was as advertised and better!!

I like that the Samsung was easier to chew. The Motorola seemed to crack my teeth when I tried to get a good bite.
This phne is the worst possible choice. It has a horrible receiver so I often watch others enjoy theire smart phones while I carry a Note 3 paper weight. It only works in areas with really strong signal. All of the really nice features it has are useless without reception. Verizon is my service provider.
