I've had my phone for almost 30 days now..I've tried to find something wrong with it and I simply can't find a thing. I upgraded from the Galaxy 2. It exceeded my expectations. Everything is so simple, easy to figure out... calls are clear and the camera is the bomb diggity !!! Save your pennies and get one!!
I was not sure how Samsung could make improvements over the SIII but I am more that pleased with the real improvements in the S4. The ease of use combined with the innovative touch-free capabilities are only the beginning. The camera more than competes with my digital SLR and is a lot of fun, specially for taking spontaneous pictures. the ability to alter the result is also an innovative and creative idea for this smartphone. Many complain about TouchWiz, but I find the S4 to be more responsive and more accurate than prior versions, and that says a lot for me. Finally, the compatibility with my Tab 3 8.0 and my wife's S4 and Tab 3 10.1 make the entire network easy and fun to use. To those who poo-poo the S4 based on screen specs or other measurements, I say - "you have not even touched the S4 Smartphone and until you do, keep your negative opinions to yourself." This S4 Edition will be hard for Samsung to beat, in my opinion as a frequent S4 user.
Samsung has outdone itself with this one! Just as soon as you think you know everything there is about the S4, it surprises you with a feature you didn't know was there! Combined with the Xbox Live Smartglass app and the built in Watch ON, I'm able to turn my S4 into an all-in-one remote control for my Xbox, television, and DirecTV cable box! Absolutley brilliant, and a show off feature to guests! Camera takes amazing pics, the 1080p display continuously impresses, and the amount of features and tricks the phone does right out of the box has more than once left my iPhone friends more than a little green with envy! One of the best electronic devices you could possibly purchase! One minor complaint I have is the battery life will drain, but I have to say I use mine constantly to check emails, watch videos, listen to baseball games, amongst other things. This might actually be a pro considering the workout I put my phone through, and the battery keeps on going! Either way, if you're in the market for a new smartphone, you would be hard pressed to find anything better than Galaxy S4!
I've had this device for a month now & I have nothing bad to say about it. The display is crisp and vivid and can play full HD content. The camera takes amazing pictures even in low light when you have night mode on; the camera has a variety of useful modes as well that are fun to play with and useful in many situations. The phone itself runs pretty smoothly with little to no slow downs in performance. Gameplay is pretty solid even with intense graphics. Overall I'd say is a really good product.
OMG!, I love this device, i went from the Epic 4g from two years ago to the S4 this year and i absolutely love it. I love to spend money and I have to say that this is my best investment yet. I do everything on here. The screen is big the camera is super clear and the sound is awesome. It is very sleek and easy to hold, it is very light and easy to carry everywhere. It is also very easy to use. Can't wait the the 5th one comes out. I can also use google maps without getting lost! The only problem i have is if you don't be careful it overheats really quick.
Do wish the volume on the right side was more off set seems to line up with the left side on button marketing it to easy to squeeze both at the same time.
I got this galaxy because of the larger size for playing games and reading email. Works great and may upgrade later to galaxy 5.
I have never owned one of the Samsung galaxy phones until recently and i have to say what an amazing phone these are. With all the cool features the possibilities on what you can do with this phone is almost endless! Way to go Samsung and hello to the S5. Wouldnt it be nice to win one!!!!
Love this phone. Features are awesome, the phone is very customizable, camera is insane and quick (quickest snap/focus I've ever had in a phone), batter life is the best I've had with android yet. Only thing that needs work is the keyboard. There is essentially no autocorrect built in so I had to download the google keyboard.
In beautiful shape, looks new, fast shipping, great price. Terrible battery life, power cord had bent prongs (unusable). Overall though, good purchase to use as a media device, but not a phone.
