the phone is amazing, the first thing I realized is that i was able to use smart switch and it transferred everything, contacts, pictures and apps. Everything!, and it remembered my passwords also. I thought the body of the phone was great. It feels like s hard plastic but very solid, sturdy. It didn't feel like a cheap toy. The reception is amazing, I live out in the country, and reception is a problem, but this phone is the first one that I never had to stand by a window to talk on the phone. The battery life is Phenomenal, I actually don't have to panic that I left my charger at home. I am Sooo happy with this phone, Thank you Thank you Thank you! It has made my live Sooo much easier too. Also love the color choices!! And the display is SOO crisp and bright, I can't think of one thing that I would change, but you did, you made the Samsung Galaxy S6 lol Thank you Samsung
Whether you're looking for powerful performance, extreme durability, or superb battery life, this phone has it all. When this phone is powered on or needs to reboot, it happens fast. If I need to open up an application in a hurry, it's open nearly as fast as my fingers can navigate to it. Whenever I get my phone dirty, I can take it to the sink to clean it off. I incidentally spilled an entire bottle of iced tea on my phone and did not get to cleaning it off immediately, causing it to become sticky. A quick trip to the sink with some soapy water had the buttons and phone as good as new. I can also talk on this phone whether I am in snow or rain without any issues. As for battery life, this device gets me five to six days on average, without any of the built-in powersaving settings. I use the device heavily on wireless internet as opposed to 4G LTE data, so it does see significant savings as opposed to roughly two to three days using exclusively the mobile data. Without either, I have seen about twelve days of battery life while still accepting phone calls and playing games. As a side note, I used a Samsung SYNC about eight years ago and have never been sold on a smartphone until I got my S5 Active. I have had about half a dozen smartphones through various brands, though each of them has always let me down. However, the S5 Active has been through rain, water, and hard drops on pavement, and yet it keeps on delivering the same amazing reliability and performance it had from the day I took it out of the box.
best phone I have ever owned. I can do everything I can do on my computer and also monitor my home security. Amazing phone product. Samsung won me over.
I owned this device for about 8 months and have now replaced it with the S6 Active becuase of a insurance claim. If it were up to me I would just choose another S5 Active. The phone did really well with me, I am very hard on my devices and work on the go so it recives alot of drops, moisture, etc... I finally managed to crack my screen(digatizer) about 6 months in. I managed to crack it not from the repeated drops but I actuall ran it over with my SUV, dont ask how lol. But it still functions 100%, but I find the cracked glass annoying and it compromises the waterproofing. Overall I am very satified with this product. Here are a few cons; 1. Annoying port cover 2. Screen speratic and partially responsive with even a slight amount of moisture on it.(Because they used capasitive touch instead of resistive) 3. Not enough RAM for serious multitaskers Pros: Everything else Screen is very vibrant Contrast mode in sunlight is very good

Samsung is my brand of choice. Rather than multiple devices, features like heart rate, steps taken, activity goals, compass, barometer, all are good for the day hiker to keep track of the conditions. The camera takes nice pictures, I get compliments on my photos. The video resizes when you text or e mail to someone automatically. Awesome !
Samsung Galaxy S 5 Enable is an excellent tool. It is an all in one. It's like Awalking with your laptop and very good to work with. I definitely recommend it. An excellent product.
This device is not FULLY compatible with my brand new Samsung smart watch. While other people with S5 shows tons of apps in the application manager, mine shows only 4. Apparently, the S5 Active does not permit you to access the full list of apps. I would have either not purchased the smart watch, or I would have chose a different S5.
The speaker is broken when I receive my phone I would like to see if Walmart could do something to make it right for me
