I really like my new galaxy note 10, and the clear photos better.
The Galaxy Note is my favorite Samsung phone, and the Note10+ is a beauty to both look at and use. I love the color of the outside, it changes colors, it glimmers! Also, I love the S Pen and the many possibilities it opens up, from writing handwritten notes on your phone, to serving as a remote shutter for taking photographs. I am a professional photographer and in my opinon the camera on the Galaxy Note 10+ is incredible and performs really well under low light situations. The colors remain rich and vibrant despite the lighting situations and I am able to take great photos with it regardless of the time of day. The camera has many features that allow you to have complete control over your photographs including one of my favorites, Pro Mode, where you can manually adjust the ISO, aperture and shutter speed. Also, the screen on the Note 10+ goes all the way to the edges of the phone, giving you a larger screen. This phone is perfection. The only drawback? I rarely use my real camera anymore. I've only had this phone for 3 days and I am loving it. I've had pretty much all of the Galaxy S series except the S2, S6, S8, and just upgraded from the S9+ but never had a Note and was trying to choose whether I should get the S10+ or Note10+ next. Now I am glad to say that I have finally joined the Note family. From the S pen to all of the other amazing features, I would highly recommend the Note10+ to anyone who needs a phone on a professional level!!!
I've had this phone since the Samsung Unpacked Event and this phone us absolutely amazing! I had the Note 9 and didn't expect a big improvement but boy was I wrong! Lighter, faster and camera is absolutely amazing I can't stop taking pics!!
I bought this at a authorized reseller and it has been an amazing upgrade from my S8 I didn't think that I would need the S-pen but is has been a nice tool for everything. From random sketching to writing quick notes for school, you will appreciate the great craftsmanship. The water protection is also nice, It has been dropped in water a few times and I have had no problems. The extensive amount of ram comes in handy when playing games and using heavy apps. It is all around an amazing phone with a nice price point.
First a disclaimer: I did receive a Note10 from Samsung as a gift on August 7, but this will in no way affect my honest opinion about this device. While I'm extremely grateful to Samsung for this amazing gift, I have few complaints, and will state them below. I've used Galaxy phones exclusively for the last few years, including most recently the S10, Note9, S9 Plus, S7 Edge and S6 Edge... So naturally, when I got an opportunity to try the new Galaxy Note10+, I was all over it. First things first... this phone is stunning! Especially in this new Aura Glow color. The screen is extremely brights and beautiful, I don't know how they manage to make a better display every 6 months, but this is of course the best they ever made. The metal frame has been updated as well, it's now flatter at the top and bottom, and adds to Note's boxy overall design, which I find the most pleasing. The screen has almost no bezel, and the front speaker is so thin, it's virtually invisible now. The selfy camera cutout is smaller now, and it's in the middle, bringing the symmetry back, and I appreciate it. All this gives the phone a very clean and futuristic look. Very slick. Now going to the back of the device, aside from it's hypnotizing color, we only see the camera module, which brings me to my first minor complaint: Why is it so iPhone like looking? To be fair, I don't think it's an attempt to copy from Apple, since after using the phone for 2 weeks, I find this location to be much more convenient when handling the phone, my fingers almost never accidentally touch the camera array anymore, which used to happen quite often with my previous Galaxy phones. There are actually 4 cameras now, and the quality of shots from them is the best I've ever seen. Performance of the phone is outstanding. My second minor complaints is the decision by Samsung to use a Snapdragon 855, while a slightly better Snapdragon 855+ is now available. While this was unfortunate, it actually doesn't mean the phone is not performing even better than S10 models that use the same processor. The Note10+ uses a new, super fast UFS 3.0 storage tech, and in combination with 12 gigs of ram, and I assume some software improvements, this phone is simply the smoothest and fastest mobile device I've ever used. I'm not going to go every single amazing feature, this review is getting too long already. But just want to add a couple more points. My third complaint is a very common and obvious one: No headphone jack. And no USB-C adapter included in the box. I will adapt to using a dongle, but keeping the 3.5 mm jack was something Samsung was always praised for, and dropping it from what overall is the do-it-all device, is an odd choice and something every user will likely complain about. I get it, it's time for jack to go, but I guess just like many others, I was hoping we would get at least a year or two more of the convenience of having it on our favorite phones. There is also no VR support. It's not something I often use, but I like having it. Now I have the latest Gear VR that I can't use with my Note10+. This was never mentioned anywhere, just kind of lame. To summarize. This phone is amazing. It's fast. Beautiful. Feature rich. Charges fast. Battery lasts all day easily. Stereo speakers are loud and clear. Cameras take great pics and videos. The S-Pen is useful and powerful. Wi-Fi, BT and cellular signals are strong and reliable. The One UI is polished and smooth (although I do prefer and use the Nova Launcher). So aside from few minor complaints that I can definitely live with, I'm super happy with this phone and definitely highly recommend it to every Samsung and Android fan! I like the note all the time is good for everyone and you can do a lots of different things with the pent great benefits
This is truly the best note so far, at this time it really surpassed all my expectations. Ahead of everyone and truly puts it on that competitive edge, i have been a loyal note fan since the first one, so obviously this is was a must. Camera is amazing!, Video and the ability to edit and make it look like a movie is just...well no words, truly is capable of doing so and in no way is a gimmick. Stunning screen, i feel like i have a mini theater in my pocket specially with that duo dolby atmos speakers. Just WoW!. Performance and battery duration are what they say they do. This is no longer your average phone, this is truly a powerhouse of entertainment and productivity. Making this device part of your life to make your life way more easier and efficient is why i would recommend this phone 100% of the time. I back up this phone and will recommend all the time. Hardware is very nice: I like the display, battery life is so much better after my previous Galaxy S6. I like the stylus. Performance is more than enough. But. But! The camera(s). Picture quality is absolutely rubbish. I've just returned from the Great Smoky Mountains, transferred photos to the PC... And was immediately disappointed in the photos quality compared to my old Galaxy S6. At first I thought it is a hardware problem. But after some investigation I found out that photos I made in Pro mode and saved as raw .dng are all right: as a proof, attaching raw photo converted to jpeg (no sharpening applied) and same photo saved by original Samsung camera app. Compare the details at 100%. Funny that with less detail, file is almost twice larger in size. I won't be able to improve picture quality of camera app file. With raw, I can do all I want including sharpening (picture is still quite blurry). Also, when you shoot with "full" ratio (2.11) it saves photo with 4032x1908 which is 7.69MPx. 16:9 gives you 9.14MPx and 4:3 is 12.19MPx (for the phone's main camera). My old galaxy S6 was shooting 16:9 photos with 16MPx so even without raw format I had much more information to work with (I use Lightroom for post-processing). That's a great improvement over 4 years! Okay, I could use Pro mode all the times, right? Nope. You cannot select which camera to use in Pro mode, so I can't shoot through telephoto or wide angle camera (which is a great idea, btw as I love panoramic shots). Conclusion: if you use your phone for taking photos a lot, care about photos quality and don't want to carry a DSLR with multiple lenses with you - don't buy Note 10+ (yet?). I hope in the nearest future either Samsung will improve the camera app, or there will be an alternative app which can process photos properly.
I've always loved my Samsungs, had them exclusively for years and encouraged everyone around me to buy them. Never have I had a screen protector and I've never needed one...until now. I had my galaxy 9s plus for 2 years with NO protector and it was virtually unmarked... I've had my note 10 plus for a couple of months and its TOTAL garbage. A plastic button in my pocket was enough to scratch the cap out of it. SOOOO disappointed!!!
