I had this case for 2 years. Love that I could set up custom notifications, answer a call, cancel my alarm without opening my phone! My friends always thought that was a cool cover. I was in need of getting a new case but there's no where to buy one. So sad.
i am a note fan. i started with a note 4, then a note 8, now a note 20 ultra. i first bought the led wallet cover for my note 4. i loved it. when i bought my note 8 i had to have another led wallet cover. so now that i have my note 20 ultra i ordered me the samsung galaxy note20 ultra 5g led wallet cover. i couldn't wait until i received it. it was all i expected. it makes my phone look like jewelry. i use the card slot every time i receive an appointment card from my doctor. the ultra will now lay flat on a surface with this case. i can use my samsung wireless charger that i bought for my note 8 with it. i could not think of owning any note without the led wallet cover. i love it.
Bought this for my new phone on 8 months ago, used it, but not abused it. Happy with the protection convenience of led display and side buttons. Disappointed in the outer textured coating which has peeled away in patches on edges and along the spine. Looks ugly now. Not worth the cost in my opinion. No replacements available. Why did Samsung offer the note when the S series and flip are what they are focused on?
i really have enjoyed the previous led case i have owned, but this one falls short. the led message notification is stuck on, constantly shows i have 3 messages, even when i have 0 or 10 messages. frustrating!
since the android 11/oneui 3.0 update on my note 20 ultra, a message repeatedly appears saying that "the led cover service keeps stopping". when this happens, the led cover fails to light up, and repeated service crashes cause significant battery drain. i have tried all the usual things to fix it, but nothing has solved the problem, so i can no longer use this rather expensive phone case. the case itself only has white leds, whereas the case for the note 10 had a row of coloured lights... otherwise the functionality has changed little in several generations of this case. it's a nice case, and i prefer the wallet style cases that protect the screen, and can aid holding the phone with one hand
this is a shoddy product and it didn't have to be that way. the cover doesn't stay closed. magnet? there is none. i tested it. there is none. the cover flops open. rubber bands needed to keep it closed. the screen stick out proudly above the frame, completely unprotected from drops. the phone is superb and very pleased with that but this case is worse than worthless. avoid at all costs.
This case is a very poor design. While the tech is neat, the case will not provide any protection to your phone in a fall, and the flap is a pain the back side. There are two major flaws in the design. 1) The flap magnet is so weak the flap does not stay closed unless it up right. The moment you turn it to the side, it flings open. So, if you drop it, you have not chance of the flap staying closed when it hits the ground. 2) The case doe not secure to the phone strong enough. I've had the phone fall out quite a few times, it just doesn't lock to it tightly enough. Unfortunately, this poor design is going to cost me a fortune of a new screen. While getting out the car today, I dropped my phone, only from seated down height I must add. As the phone fell, the flap pinged straight open. The second it hit the floor, out fell them phone and smash goes the screen. Long time user of Samsung phones, but this very poor design has angered me The case is a gimmick that wont protect your phone.
if you have one credit card (or a drivers license) in the slot the cover wont stay closed correctly. useless as a wallet.
Bought a silver LED cover for my Note 20 ultra which is an updated version of the note 9 LED cover, but has a special microbiological coating, within 3 months this cover has become covered with my finger marks etc and there is no amount of cleaning that will remove this and then the coating has started to rub off
it offers protection. the led is alright when it works. obly fits one card. finally the cover does not stay closed. without using it it will sit awkwardly open. should you fold back the cover and use it for any amount of time, then it will no longer shut and fall completely open. huge waste of money! all they had to do was add a magnetic clasp to the closure of the case and itd be fantastic. they realy screwed this one up.
