I love this motion sensor so much! I set it up with smart lighting so that lights turn on when I get home and walk in my front door. It is so nice to know the lights will automatically come on rather than having to fumble around in the dark this time of year. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
We just got this a couple days ago and I have to say, it's working well for us. We decided to put the sensor in our basement. I loved this sensor when I installed it and got it working with the hub. But the battery died down soon. I've replaced the batteries few times now and none of the batteries lasted more than 15 days.
Have had the sensor for 11 months and have to take the battery out almost weekly to reset it.
Samsung website tells the range is 50-130 ft. I'd say the range is 2-3 ft. Garbage...
I've bought two smartthings branded motion sendors. Both have failed. They wont stay connected. I have a third party that works fine. I will never buy another smarthings motion sensor.
the motion sensors works great. except the batter drains like crazy. in two weeks, the battery went from 100% to 61%. there's no way to hardwire power.
