[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this SSD a little while back and I love it. It's fast, easy to cary, and I can take it where I need to take it.
I bought this because my memory on my computer was running low. I'm a photographer so it was crucial to get a dependable SSD. I've had it for 4 months now and it's better then expected
I needed this cause I needed more space to download some necessary stuff. ;)
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this to expand the storage of my macbook pro and keep a hard copy of the content of my phone. Connecting to Windows and my Galaxy is easy and convenient. However, the software to add password protection never worked on my M1 mac. Other than that it has been a great purchase.
It should have a protective case to store it.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought my unit in December of 2023 and I've been using it ever since. I've been big into using Mainsgate for Auxillary Keys at church, and after a long time I began running out if space on my Macbook, and through the recommendations of others I biut the unit to store my sound samples and bank presets. This was a big help and what was a plus was just how fast the unit registers and reads on my macbook. The efficiency of pulling sound and files from the unit has been way faster than any other hard drive I've had before and I'll definitely be buying this product again in the future. Definitely got the bang fir my buck with this one.
This package was given to me via curbside pickup package was opened and items inside stained looks used packaging ripped
Have owned multiple Samsung SSD including the T3 for 8 years which still runs flawlessly. Where my problem lyes is that I purchased 2 of these on 4/18…one seemed Ok, but where as the other one was clearly used. If the tampered tape on the box wasn't a dead giveaway; what I saw next when I loaded it up was some Win11 software added on 2/6 which clearly didn't belong there…all my other T7 only had the included Samsung software as to be expected. So I'd very much like to know how used products with who knows what being added to them are reaching customers.
This review is not about the product, because I didn't get it, because the courier of Walmart left him on the street!
It works on the computer, but I bought this thinking I could transfer files from my phone to the device without issue. It does not work if your SSD is password protected. The Samsung SSD Android app is out of date and plenty of customers are complaining in the reviews. The phone itself can see the device, but the app doesn't recognize it since it hasn't been updated in over a year. I recommend you spend more money and avoid Samsung for external drives. This needs to be removed from the shelf.
