20 yrs ago I purchased my first and only external drive. It was the size of 2 bricks with only 256GB. This is a fraction of the size with so much more space. So portable too. I've had great experience with Samsung electronics in the past and this one doesn't disappoint. The write speed is incredible despite the fact that my laptop is a little older

I love that it is truly portable and therefore easy to carry around, yet still is durable enough to protect my videos and files. I've dropped it several times (what can I say, I'm a klutz) and it's never caused any issues for me.

The only hiccup I had with the product is when I had a password on it and for some reason when trying to use the ssd on another device it didn't seem to work very well. It took a couple of minutes but I did get it back working, just a small hiccup was all.
