[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The SanDisk iXpand Flash Drive Luxe for iPhone, iPad, and USB Type-C devices has been a huge help for me! As you can see in the last photo I used this to transfer over 2700 photos, videos, and documents off of my phone and it took less than 10 minutes total to do it. About this product: *works with Apple and USB Type-C devices like Android *has 2 sides- 1 apple and 1 USB Type-C (Android) *swivel design let's you switch between connection side while keeping them safe. *has a cap for the one connector end that isn't covered by the case *Made in a premium metal design *holds 64GB My thoughts: I love this flash drive! Total game changer for me. I am able to transfer photos, videos, and documents off of my phone in after of minutes. I no longer have to hook my phone up to a computer to transfer these items off my phone and spend hours doing it. I can easily transfer them onto the flash drive, unmount it from my phone and plug it into my laptop to put them on the backup drive. Even uploading to a cloud storage takes longer than this does. So easy to do and completely saves time! I really also like that it can be used with Apple and Android devices. I received this product for free in exchange for my honest opinion.
it works, good price, I might lose the cap but i haven't, is looks great the aluminum body, likely to buy another one like this one.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been using this flash drive for a few weeks now and can honestly say it's been a pleasure to have. I love being able to get my pictures off of my phone anytime and quickly. It's great being able to just free up space on the go and to have that portability to transfer pics and vids anytime I need to. I keep it on my keychain so that I can have it at all times when in need. I would say anyone looking to free up space on their phone and have that extra insurance to always have space and back up capability all the time would love this flash drive.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] SanDisk® iXpand® Flash Drive Luxe for your iPhone, 64GB is nicely constructed and conveniently moves data from phone to phone. Unfortunately, it's going to be very easy to lose the cap on one end and does not plug into a computer USB port. Those are my only issues.
Pros: quality of the drive is nice, looks and feels great. Pretty easy to use. Got the job done. I had a good amount of photos I wanted to back up on this drive from my iPhone 11 pro, so I purchased this to free up some space. Cons: It was very slow. I had to do it in 3 different sessions and the phone got pretty hot doing the transfer. I think it took more than 3 hours to transfer about 256GB of data.
Works, but it is extremely slow with iPhone. After a few hours backing up iPhone I gave up.
This is my experience using this on my iPhone 13 Pro Max: copying files from my iPhone to the flash drive it does not retain the date of the original files (photos and videos). This is a deal breaker for me. The sorting is not working — when I change it to sort by descending date, it is not showing the latest file I just copied to it at the top. I am forced to use the app to manage files, even through the Share sheet. Even typing in the search box is frustrating— trying to type in numbers, the keyboard reverts back to the alphabet for every numeral I type in! I believe all these can be fixed in the iXpand app. PLEASE fix these issues.
I gave a very thorough and real review that happened to be negative and you rejected it??? Proving my point. I will be discussing this with lawyers as several people are involved now with a class action forming against you WD/Sandisk. Your polices are unacceptable and border on illegal. Guess you want to find out the hard way! Have a nice day!
I have two ixpand drives: the GO and the LUXE versions. Both are BRAND NEW Brand New, iPhone 14 Pro • Operating system version. iOS 16.1.1 Neither drive works with the current iOS/iPhones It is recognized ONLY by the iXpand software but is unable to be accessed/recognized by the rest of iOS or any of the compatible apps that are supposed to be compatible and used to be able to access these drives as an external storage while plugged in. (This worked great when it was operational like this) in the past, iXpand drives could copy files back and forth using either the iXpand software or the Apps on the phone such as media players and iOS' Files app as well. None of these are possible currently. And, iXpand can't seem to copy any files. It goes through the motions taking a long time as it used to, but it never actually copies any of the files. Again, BOTH BRAND NEW drives do this on a brand new iPhone ! Probably due to the inaccessibility of the drive by the current operating system? Also on many occasions of trying, the drive just stopped even being recognized altogether by iOS and kept prompting to insert iXpand drive even though it was already inserted. I tried changing operating system and software settings. Nothing worked. This was the case for both of the new drives. And right now they are completely useless on the iOS device version 16.1.1 for whatever reason. If I had to guess I'd say an update is needed somewhere to fix this. As of today, these drives are only good as basic flash drives on my PC or Mac and that's it. They literally do not work with the latest version of iOS.
