I have used scandisk mp3's for years. I had to replace mine because it got stolen. But compared to the cost of an iPod, you get a lot of bang for your buck. I've put all my CD's on it, music from Amazon, and it's supposed to work with iTunes, so hopefully I can get music from people I know who have iTunes, which I couldn't do before on my older model.
Exactly what I wanted. I put audiobooks on it. They can be advanced or reversed by chapter. It will hold a whole series of books without a problem. It clips into my clothing, and is small and lightweight and so does not get lost or inadvertently dropped. But it can be inconspicuously turned off or on.
This mp3 player is well designed and has an excellent feature set. I've had a number of SanDisk mp3 players over the years and they're always reliable and top quality.
Only a thin, barely visible, blue line to see how far the playback has gone. It would be nice to see how many minutes/seconds the playback has been going. Otherwise, it works fine.
I have always purchased SanDisks in lieu of the apple products as I found them to be great for what I need and the price is great. With this last SanDisk clip, I upgraded to a 32gb so that I could load my whole library of cds onto it. I found that, in many instances, it skips songs from a whole cd list when I am syncing...and even if I go back to intentionally put the song on, it won't accept it. Also, the jack is on the bottom of the clip, so when I clip it to my shirt hem or sleeve, the cord to my earbuds gets shortened and tangled in the clip itself. It was better when the jack was on the side...or it would be great if the jack was moved to the top of the device.
I am a fan of Sandisk mp3 players for many years . My last one is the Clip Sport Go (for about 6 months at least). Very disappointed after using the Sansa Clip Sport with satisfaction . Comparison: 1. The Screen of the Clip Sport Go is smaller and it is difficult to see details especially the Progress Bar details - only with glasses 2. It takes longer to the Clip Sport Go to start plying.! 3. The Bוttons of the Clip Sport Go are slightly flatter - it was easier to operate the Clip Sport in the dark without looking. I know that this is the result of making the new Clip Sport smaller. But I prefer a (very slightly) larger MP3 player without these "defects"... I miss the Sansa Clip Sport and can not find it anymore in the shops. The Quality is good - apart from easily broken clip...
I bought this from WalMart.com. Two stars because it came as loose components in a padded envelope., so I cannot be sure it is a NEW item It did not come in manufacturer's packaging. No quick start guide was included. The address it came from said "Return Center, in Flushing, NY" I sent a note to the seller through Walmart.com inquiring about all of this and heard nothing back after a week (a 2 day response was promised). I don't know if I was sold a new product or a refurb since it didn't come in manufacturer packaging or include a quick start guide that the manufacturer claims is in the box of a new one.

Overall...not worth $50. More like $10. Looks and acts like it runs on DOS. I dropped it while trying to open my front door and it never turned on again. I have a $15 mp3 player that fell off my belt clip when running and that still works. This fell once and died. Trash.
Totally abhorrent quality control. Less than two months after purchasing, the device dies dead. The battery was fully charged a few minutes ago. No combination of pressing buttons (as shown on the website) gets the unit started up again. Tried the hard-reset using a paperclip. Worked once. Yes, ONLY once. Now the device does not start at all. Doesn't anyone check these devices before shipping? Second problematic SanDisk device this year.
