I had to buy some dishes after a divorce. I just happened to find these at WalMart and bought them. I realy like them so I bought more on line.
Wow...I found a set identical to this but by another brand at Bed Bath & Beyond for literally quadruple the price. Didn't think I was gonna find it anywhere else when a friend suggested I check Walmart.com. I was skeptical as this was a high quality set that I didn't expect a place like walmart to carry. Low and behold there it was online. Still skeptical it would be of the same quality as the ones I saw at BB&B, they arrived and WOW are they nice. Very pleased with what I got. I bought 2 cases of 4 sets (enough for 8 people) and these will be my dishware set for life.
Looks really durable and of a better quality. I'm pleased!
i just bought the dishes for my wife after we got married last week and after washing them in the dishwasher i noticed that one of the plates had a crack in it. i am not sure whether it had the crack prior to putting it in the dishwasher or not, but i immediately called walmart and and they told me to bring the individual plate and they would replace it. i am very pleased so far with the dish as is my wife as a matter of fact i am online now ordering a second set.
They look like they re from a more expensive vendor. Do chip/break in our household, but we are tough on thing w/ lots of kids, etc... They are a great value, so, I just buy more to replace... Very attractive, expensive, modern looking
These dishes seem really nice, I just washed them all and they survived just fine in the dishwasher through round one. It says they are both dishwasher and microwave safe on the dishes. They have a very beautiful appearance to them. The glossy white on the interior of the dishes is nice and smooth and food won't stick to it, however the matte black exterior makes the dishes appear very expensive and gives them character as opposed to the standard dish glossy white exterior. Overall I am pleased. One snag was that when I opened the box, one bowl was cracked into 2 big pieces from presumably poor handling during shipment to the store. I am debating whether or not to pack it all back up and bring it to the store for an exchange or just buy a replacement bowl since they sell them piece by piece as well for this set currently.
