Doctor Juan's Santo Remedio brand Omega 3 dietary supplement is made in the USA and distributed by Santo Remedio from Miami Florida. It comes packaged in a box that is uniquely in both English and Spanish. The box has a picture and statement of Dr. Juan Rivera that states in part "Health is the basis for happiness…." The box indicates that Omega 3 is for improving healthy cholesterol. The bottle inside the box is safety sealed and contains 30 capsules of 1000mg of Omega 3 in each pill. The bottle states to take 1 capsule a day. Be sure you read the warnings and disclaimer.
Dr. Juan's Santo Remedio - Colesterol - Omega 3 Dietary Supplement. I have been taking this Omega 3 for a while now. The 1000mg softgel and I love it. I've had no side effects I also have not got those weird burps that omega-3 supplements can sometimes give you. I have not had an after check of my cholesterol levels so I can't say for sure if it has helped my cholesterol, but it is a natural product and omega-3 is known for a large amount of health benefits. Ingredients: Marine lipid concentrate 1000mg, EPA 300 mg, DHA 200 mg. Product is distributed from Florida made in the USA. Dr Juan has a very well selling book and then came out with several supplements to help boost and optimize health. I have done a lot of research on Omega 3 to see if it is something I should have as a supplement. Science-based benefits of omega-3s have a TON of health benefits for our bodies, and I suggest you do your own research. Remember to discuss with your doctor before adding any supplement to your routine. Since I don't live in an area where we regularly get fresh fish, omega-3 is a supplement I use on a regular basis. Bottom line omega-3 fatty acids are vital for optimal health. Getting them from whole foods like fatty fish two times a week is the best way, but since I don't eat a lot of fatty fish or live near the ocean, I take an omega-3 supplement and it's a inexpensive and effective way to improve health. I recommend this product, as I use it on a regular basis.
After my yearly check up my Dr. recommended I start watching what I eat and lower my cholesterol. I had already inquired about supplements and vitamins he suggested looking for some with Onega 3 and cholesterol. To my surprise as if by magic..a chance to try a supplement with Omega 3. I ordered it and started to take them as directed and changed my diet. I love the fact that they are easy swallowing gel capsules. I hope to see some positive changes by next check up.i will buy another bottle to continue to my routine
I decided to try these cholesterol pills because my cholesterol is not that great. It's not bad, but it could be better. The problem is, no matter what I eat or how I exercise, my HDL and LDL do not fluctuate in either direction. It contains Marine Lipid Concentrate 1000mg, EPA 300mg, and DHA 200mg. I researched these, and they seem to work well in clinical trials. I've only been taking it for about two weeks, so I really won't know how good they will work until at least after a month, and even better at three months. The pills are almost an inch long, so they're a little tricky to swallow, but I manage. I have had no physical side effects. I'm excited to find out how well they have worked, but it may also be that I'm just one of those people who just has a steady HDL and LDL level.
Discipline is a good source of omega-3 fish oil‘s when taken once a day. The only bad thing that I didn't like was that the pill size is a little bit too big for my liking and there is a fishy aftertaste that comes back around after a few minutes of ingesting it. Hey it is what it is and it does what it says.
I tried the Santa Remedio Colesterol product after receiving lab results showing slightly elevated cholesterol. I worried about what my future health would look like and wanted to get a jump on getting heart healthy. I'm hoping this cholesterol tablet will help put me back on track for a healthier future. The capsules are on the larger size.
Each bottle contains 30 pills. One pill per day and you have a month supply. They are big soft gel pills. I have trouble swallowing big pills but cutting them is worse because they taste like fish oil. I haven't checked my cholesterol so I don't really know if they are working.
I got these fish oil (Omega 3) pills because they said they're good for cholesterol. Unfortunately, I won't know if they actually help with that until I get my blood tested in a few months, so for this review, I'm sticking to the easily-observable properties of this supplement. As I expected for 1,000 mg fish oil pills, the softgels are very large. Someone who has trouble swallowing supplements won't be able to take them. I was able to get them down without much difficulty, though. They have the typical, somewhat squishy softgel texture that can somewhat conform to the first bend in the throat and keep moving. The biggest downside, for me, is that they give me very nasty fish oil burps. I'd heard of this effect, but had never experienced it because until now, I've used fish oil that had a cover flavor added. These have no flavoring, so the burps taste like something that washed up dead on the beach. For this reason alone, I would not buy more of this brand. However, if you don't get burps from fish oil, or don't mind that old-fish taste, they seem like what I'd expect from any decent brand of them.
I will be going back to the Natures Bounty mini burp-less. These are huge if you have trouble swallowing pills they aren't for you and the fishy burps are annoying. I included a photo of the actual size.
I had the opportunity to take the Colesterol, Fish Oil Omega 3 Supplements. I am a proponent of omega 3 and decided to try this version. To my dismay, the gel was so large that I had difficulty swallowing it. For my safety, I did not take an additional gel. It appears that it will provide the nutrients. I did not get the opportunity to see if an odor would emit through my skin.
