I spent easily over $100 on a comforter at a walmart competitor store and had that comforter for a little while until I had enough. When I first bought my old one, feathers everywhere. So I bought a duvet. Didn't work. So I double duvet-ed it.. still didn't work. so I just put up with it until now. I spent alot of time looking at reviews because at the end of the day I will be under my comforter. This comforter is great, it was cheaper then my old one, no feathers, fluffed up all by itself after a few days. It's nice and moderately light, not too heavy but has some good feel to it. Perfect size for my queen size bed. What can I say I love it!
I am really satisfied with my new comforter. I scoured the internet for reviews on various down comforters and finally decided to take a leap of faith on this one. Not sure if there were truly "competitors" for this price, but I am ecstatic about my decision to purchase this one. Having a little trouble finding duvets to fit this size, but a nice bedspread is doing the trick for now.
This down comforter is exactly as described, only better. The hand of the sateen fabric is smooth, and the down is lofty. There is no odor from the down at all, and the box stitching is good quality. This is well worth the $$$. The only thing is, I wish Wal*mart would offer duvet sets in sizes compairable with the dimensions of the comforter. Had to order a set from a high end linen store. But, having said that, the comforter itself is GREAT !
I love this comforter. It is so cozy. Even when it started to get colder, I still didn't need extra blankets, I was amazed. I tend to keep my heating to a min at night and I was still toasty warm under this comforter. It is amazing value for what you get. I would recommend this to everyone who wants a comfortable cozy nights sleep
I really like this comforter, it is generously sized, and hangs well over the sides and end of our bed (king size). Have been using a down-alternative comforter for years and had my doubts about switching to real goose down but this was an excellent value and I'm so glad I did. It's lighter AND warmer! I do feel that it needs a duvet cover, but that will enable me to change the look of the bed when I want.
I bought this comforter as a gift for my "very particular"25 year old son for Christmas. I was given specific instructions of what to look for. I looked on the web sites of Penney's, Sears, Maceys, Bed Bath & Beyond, Kohl's, Sam's, and Costco. I could come close to his instructions but the pricess were far above what I was willing to pay. For fun I clicked on Wal-Mart and found this comforter. It met all of my sons criteria for more than 1/2 off the price of everyone else. Needless to say he was pleased and when he's pleased I'm estatic!!
This seems like a nice down comforter. The size was not as listed. It was listed as 98"x108". But in fact is only 91"X101". This was a little disappointing.
We had been looking for a good down comforter and shopping at many online sites for some time. When I found this comforter my husband and I decided to give it a try. We are SO very happy with our purchase. We live in the mountains of Colorado and it does get cold up here. It's very light weight and oh so warm, we don't need the bedspread at all with this comforter. We would highly recomend this produce. Five stars from us. Also the price was reasonable too.
this product was not a bright white as shown in picture. it was not fluffy. although pretty soft, it wasn't as pictured. i was so excited... and really disappointed when i got this product after waiting for almost 1 month for shipping. there were 40 and 50 dollar down comforters that seemed more for the money than this one.
