After recovering from plantar fasciitis, I was guided to these by a running shoe store and I can't say enough good things about them!! The extra cushion allows for shock absorbency and the firmer bottom helps with my lazy gait. I've already ordered a second pair.
I bought this shoe sight unseen from the Saucony website based on a friends recommendation. I am not a “real” runner, but run my dogs in agility. I have a lot of hip/back pain from too many years of riding horses. These shoes are nicely cushy, but still have control.
Love these shoes! Perfect for my runs! Great stability, love the shift off of your toes. Actually beat my personal best in these shoes. Definitely worth every Penny! Super comfortable
This shoe is so much better than I thought it would be! I was reading reviews and watching review videos, and they were saying things like, "too bulky!" or "forced mid-foot strike!" and honestly, for me that was not the case AT ALL. This shoe was not designed for you to go fast; it was designed so that you could have an easy, breezy 5 miles, or 10 or 12 miles, or even 1 mile. The SPEEDROLL wasn't intense at all, and I liked that it encouraged a mid-foot strike without being too forceful. The cushion is GREAT- I personally don't like shoes that are too squishy because my knees need a little more stability. This shoe is perfect and is in my weekly rotation!

I wore these on the ~ 8 mile Swamp Trail in Waimea Canyon and they were comfortable. They got covered in mud and cleaned up surprisingly well with a hose and tooth brush. They dried quickly. I like that they look like regular tennis shoes but have the traction of hiking shoes. Plan to wear them again at Bryce Canyon and Zion in a few months.

Another great saucony running shoe. Trird these after about 40 pairs of Rides. It's a great shoe with the perfect amount of cushion. If you're thinking about trying them, I highly recommend them!
I prefer it to the speed. There is more cushioning and support and no side of the foot rubbing. I can run 10 miles in these and not be in pain on the last mile.
The overall construction is great. It turns out this model isn't what I was looking for in a show. I enjoy endurance running and was looking for a lot of cushion and speed for the long runs. This shoe has a roll forward, which I found uncomfortable and caused pain in my toes. I ended up using these as a daily walking around on my feet all day shoe. They are very comfortable in that sense, but did not work for running for me.
