My new Sauder Library is wonderfully roomy and looks great with my new desk also from the Cottage Home Collection. Some of the shelves can me adjusted to various heights and they are all deep enough for larger books. The library is easy to put together and looks great in any room.
This is a nice looking bookshelf. A piece was broken when we opened the box, but it was so easy and fast to reorder the part through Sauder's website. Super customer service. We bought two of the bookshelves and they look great side by side. Plenty of room for books, pictures and whatever.
These bookcases are very nice for the price. They were not difficult to assemble, I'm a woman and I did it by myself with no problems. The instructions were clear and easy to follow with step-by-step pictures. They look very nice. They could have had less "fake knots" in the veneer, but they were going for a pine-look finish, and if you like that, it looks really nice. I like the color, not too dark and not too light either.
Well made, easy to assemble, and very pleasing appearance after it is completed. Sauder is great to deal with and very accomodating, well beyond their own responsibility. Site-to-store was efficient and all it was purported to be. I will buy more Sauder furniture, including companion units, and I will definitely use site-to-store again.
Very nice looking piece of furniture. Very well built. We are very pleased with the quality of Sauder furniture and the ease of assembly. We purchased this piece along with the library w/doors and I must say, they really look much more expensive than the purchase price.
I PURCHASED THIS TO GO WITH THE ENTERTAINMENT CENTER I HAVE AND IT GOES GREAT WITH IT. I JUST BOUGHT ONE TILL I SEEN HOW IT TURNED OUT. WHEN WE PUT IT TOGETHER. I LOVED IT. SO I PURCHASED ANOTHER ONE LAST NIGHT. CANT WAIT TO GET IT. I LOVE THERE FURNITURE. NO MATTER WHAT HAPPENS TO IT WITHIN 5 YEARS OF HAVING IT THEY WILL REPLACE ANY PIECES NO QUESTIONS ASKED. I HAVE SO MANY OF THERE ITEMS AND NONE WAS A BAD BUY. LOVED THEM ALL. I AM A VERY VERY PICKY PERSON WHEN IT COMES TO MY STUFF. YOU WANT BE DISAPPOINTED WITH THIS ITEM.
me and my 12 year old son put this together.... he did most of the work. I love it, holds alot of stuff and looks great. It's a perfect addition to my collection. It took a little time to put together, but well worth it.
I bought this product to put in our living room to house all of our dvd's and I am very happy with it. I put the whole thing together by myself and found it very easy to do. The only thing I might complain about is the shipping but that is not the manufacturers problem, I wish they were able to send it to the local store and I would have saved the $80 shipping fee, but the quality of the bookcase is very nice and I would definitely recommend it.
This bookcase matches another bookshelf, entertainment stand, and computer desk I own. I love that! It is very attractive and the movable shelves are great. It was easy to put together and if I had a bigger house, I'd purchase another one for the rest of my books!
My fiance and I bought two of these - to go with the one with doors - to store his massive collection of books in our new apartment. One of them came missing a piece, but we called Sauder that night and had the piece within two days - no questions asked. As I said in my review of the case with doors, the only complaint that we had was that they did not sit straight next to each other (which may have been because they are sitting on carpet, not a hard floor). My fiance bought a couple of clamps to hold them together at the top, however, and you could never tell that there was a problem. I found the assembly to be pretty straight-forward, as well.
