Very pretty piece of furniture. The customer service from Sauder was exceptional. There was a defective piece and a few screws missing. When contacted, they sent what was needed immediately at no charge.
Shipping container was sturdy and well designed, no damage. Fit and finish of the components was excellent. Overall size and amount of usable storage was more than expected. Optional wood panels for doors was used. Extremely good deal for the money. That said, it takes a really long time to assemble what with over a hundred screws, brackets and special fasteners to deal with. Not difficult, but time consuming and you better follow the instructions, which are clear and accurate. If I had it to do over again I would have bought a battery screwdriver before I started.
Beautiful Piece of furniture. A nice substantial piece. Not the easiest thing to put together. But once done, a real beauty! Worth the time.
Very well made piece of furniture. The 70"" width goes well with our brand new 77"" OLED LG TV. Shipments came in 2 boxes (arrived on different day), but they were well packaged. No damaged pieces for us. The assembly instruction is very easy to follow. However, it still took about 2 hours to put it together with all the pieces, nuts and bolts. The espresso color is much darker than we expected, which is perfect for us because we wanted black color, but only espresso and cherry were available. Overall, we are completely satisfied with this purchase with Hayneedle.
Saunders of Ohio manufactured and packaged this unit perfectly. The assembly instructions were clear, concise and easy to follow with simple terms and diagrams. All pieces were marked including screws and connector pieces. I absolutely love the quality product.

Item was damaged.
It's worse than what I hoped for but not better than what I expected. The reviews on here kept on stating how it was high quality, but it really isnt. Panels are thin, corners are banged up and smashed making it really noticable that it is MDF. Worse of all the alignment of the hardware holes made the doors crooked and not leveled to one another. Also they dont have proper spacing between the doors, so they rub on each other when you open it. Very poor quality for almost $500. I think I would've been better off at Ikea. Think of installing laminate floors and expecting the feel of hardwood floors. The reviews got my hopes up
I had high hopes for the Sauder Avenue Eight Entertainment Credenza - but my hopes are dashed. The size and features, such as the internal power strip, glass and solid doors, and the price are the reason I bought it. I was so excited about it that I hired a professional to put it together. Thank goodness I did because there is no way that we could have put this together. There are so many parts and the instructions are lacking in clarity and detail. The required tools are not those that most people have at home, such as a small screwdriver for the middle door hinges. It took the professional 8 hours to put it together. I'm still not satisfied with the way the doors line up. This not a quality piece. It's not worth the aggravation. #disappointed #sweepstakes
