It keeps the dust from flying when I use my miter saw in the basement. My wife was impressed.
Well made and promptly shipped. Excellent quality.
Protects saw from wet weather and contains sawdust indoors. Sets up fast on most saws. Saw operates freely when installed.highly recommend.
The hood and its support structure were well manufactured. The flat brackets to mount it to the saw are quite flimsy and being flat stock aluminum, I expect them to break (crack) at any time the saw is moved. I should say that the saw is mounted to a very well built portable stand and is quite easy to move for positioning. Like I said, I think the brackets will crack at some point. The thing is, the brackets are nothing like the photos on the box depict. The photos show tubular aluminum brackets which look sturdier than the flat stock. Well see how they hold up. Maybe I attached them wrong, but wouldnt know since there were absolutely no instructions included with the hood. I went by the photos on the box as best I could. Looks really good! I just hope it hold up.
Bought to use saw inside house. Someone is proud of this!? Big and bulky. Slightly smaller than a Jeep soft top. Didnt work. Dust everywhere. Going to buy a tarp, spring clamps, a fiberglass tent pole and a collapsible garbage can. Im sure it will work way better for a quarter of the price.
