Love it! Great sound, Fun and easy to play. I teach music and I wish I could get one for all my students. The bag is a great carry all; Sturdy Stand; and the digital Tuner makes tuning simple and fun. If you are on the fence, just do it! You will be glad you did!!
I own a nice expensive baritone ukulele that I have been learning with which has the standard baritone tuning. I was seeing a lot of song tutorials for the standard ukulele tuning of GCEA that I wanted to play that I had a hard time finding for the baritone DGBE tuning. I bought this tenor set to try those tutorials. The ukulele set arrived quickly. The headstock was slightly warped but I tuned it with the provided tuner and it played just fine. So I decided to keep it. The stand and travel bag it came with are nice also. The set is a good value. Once I learn a decent amount of songs on this one I will invest into a more expensive tenor but for now it is a good ukulele to learn the GCEA chords on.
Still in the process of learning to play it but it is very attractive and seems to have good tone. I find it has a more mellow sound when strummed by the ball of the thumb. The electronic tuner that comes with it solves the beginners problem with tuning it. The strings will stretch so it is best to tune it before each use. Be cautious. A string will break if wound too tight. Best to keep a set or two of extra strings on hand. It is easy to change strings yourself.
This ukulele is super special. Great sound. Nice wood quality. Great package deal.
Brought as a xmas house and the string broke the same day when we were tuning it, had to take it to guitar center to get it restringed.
the padded bag isnt padded an too tiny for my ukulele. theres no tuner or quick stary guide. jve waited so long for this.
