I am a 76year old great great grandma who stil likes to garden n work in my flower beds. My last mantis tiller of 40 years finally gave out n I bought this one It is great, lite enough I can pickup with ease, starts everytime, n great at tilling n cultivating!! Just hope it lasts half as long as the last one. Thanks Mantis
Just right for a single woman to create and manage a small garden. It was a gift for my granddaughter and she loves it.
The throttle cable is connected to the carburetor with a thin plastic strip. And the air filter is connected to carburetor. Unlike other mini tillers, there is no protection bars in front of the air filter and the slightest bump against the exposed air filter/carburetor will break the throttle cable holder and the tiller will not run. There is no replacement part, you have to buy a new carburetor and with installation fee is $96.44 in my area. And no warranty! Home Depot used to carry this mini tiller but not anymore.
I have had one for a number of years and it's the same routine yearly. I run out the gas to store over winter. Each spring is a fight go get to run again. What I have spent at the sop yearly would have bought several tillers. Don't recommend no matter what reviews say. Unless you're a technician pass this brand by.
