[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Discover 3M sent me a sample to evaluate. I am kind of funny when it comes to taping things down because I don't like to see tape showing or buckling of the item being taped, but using the double-sided tape was perfection for me. This tape has a very strong adhesive which holds even some heavier items that you wouldn't expect it would. I like to hang inspirational things all around me at work and this was perfect for long-term hangings. The tape is nice and narrow to allow for fitting in smaller areas such as where I used it. The handy dispenser allows for easy use and storage. No backing to pull off - yay.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Sometimes I do not want to cover up what I am taping with tape. Scotch Double-Sided Tape makes that easier and more effective than my previous method, which was making tape loops from single-sided tape. Examples of uses for it are: - Attaching labels to things - Leaving the upper surface of taped-down notes free of tape, so that they may still be written on in the future - Attaching bows and decorations to gifts. Something I do to maximize the tape's coverage area is that I trim the label, etc. after I apply the tape, so that the entire surface is covered in tape without going over the edges.
I received this Double Sided tape from 3m to try, and I have to say I was pleasantly surprised. I have tried doubled sided tape on past projects, and it didn't hold well. I was expecting to be disappointed again but this tape was stickier than the tapes I had tried before. I tested this out on a scrapbooking project, and it worked like a charm! Even after I misaligned a photo and had to peel it off and restick it, the tape still adhered well the second time. This tape has great hold on both sides! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The tape is really great and saves me from having to take out my tape gun that can get a little wonky sometimes for small projects. I like to hand make cards which are in the photos so just being able to use this small dispenser is perfect!! I must admit that I was a bit confused on the first strips of tape with the writing on it. It wasn't really clear to me that this had to come off first. I mistakenly thought I had to peel off the top layer, but once I really paid attention I realized what I had to do. The stickiness is just right with this tape dispenser and I had fun finding stuff to tape. I would definitely buy this tape and keep it handy in my crafting supplies.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Scotch Double-Sided Tape easily releases from the roll and tears cleanly. The tape adheres well on both sides and maintains the hold over time. The case is sturdy, unlike some that flex with the force required to tear the tape.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Once I figured out that you had to pull the tape quite a bit before I found the double-sided tape it worked well to hang a card near my desk. Much easier than making a loop with regular scotch tape. It would have been helpful to have instructions on the package. 3M provided the product for my review.
I buy in bulk and on every dispenser the tape has split, very difficult to find the end. Frustrating. I never had a problem with it in the past. Something must have changed.
I purchased item today at hobby lobby and extremely dissapointed. I cant get the protective film off. I was going to use it in a major project. I thought it will help me do my project easier. Well, spent more time trying different ways to figure out how to remove protective film, and getting frustrated.
