What a nice way to help clean the bowl clean and save your hands in the meantime. This is a neat little tool. First of all, it is compact so it easily fits either next to or behind your toilet or if you choose, could also be kept in the closet or in a vanity cabinet and would not take up too much space. There are two parts to this, the scrubber handle and the handle/scrubber storage caddy. The scrubber comes with five disposable scrubbers which fit conveniently into the back of the caddy. Cut open the top to expose them but leave them in their sleeve and put back into the caddy. To use, simply push the handle into the plastic end on the top of the scrubber until it locks in place. The handle has a comfortable grip and the design of the scrubber is perfect for reaching all sections of the bowl. It is especially nice for cleaning under the rim which is generally the hardest area to reach. When you are finished cleaning, disposal is easy too. On the handle is a plug which, when you push on it, will retract the locking clip at the end and the scrubber will just drop into the trash. Easy peasy and you never have to actually touch the scrubber. Nice, convenient and also a nice looking design. I would recommend....
The Scotch-Brite -Brand Disposable Toilet Scrubber is simple and easy to use. I have tried different toilet cleaning systems in the past only to be disappointed. I have always liked the idea of a disposable head without having the same germy toilet brush and holder next to the toilet. The handle locks right into place and stays in place while cleaning. The cleaning pad is curved at the end so it reaches nicely under the rim. The pad is flexible enough to clean all areas of the toilet. You can smell the cleaner and it is not overpowering just a clean smell. Last you just dispose of the head in the trash with a push of a button it comes right off. Do not flush the cleaning head. The caddy holds the handle and disposable heads taking up minimal room. In short cleans entire toilet and under rim while staying in place, fresh smell, fast easy disposal.
This Scotch-Brite Disposable Toilet Bowl Scrubber Cleaning System really made me sit up and take notice when I used it the first time. We have so many minerals in our city water that just having the water enter the bowl when it's flushed, leaves marks or stains if you will. all down the inside of the bowl. Most cleansers just caused streaks if they worked even a little. I have tried a number of cleaning products to get it off to no avail. The water also left a terrible ring that just got worse and worse. Now, I'm not talking about an old toilet, I'm talking about one only a couple of years old so you can tell I was completely frustrated. To have to use a soap stone to scrub and scrub hard to get the ring out just wasn't my cup of tea so when I got this system to test out for Walmart, even though it's especially meant for under the rim where the water comes out, I wasn't expecting miracles. BUT, not only did it get out most of the nasty mineral build up there, the cleaning compound in the pad did a lot for the rest. I scrubbed the rest of the toilet with it but didn't flush. I let it sit everywhere there were mineral stains including the ring. While it didn't get all the mineral stains when I used it, it faded them all so you had to look close to see them and the ring, while it didn't just wipe away, it loosened the minerals so that all I had to do was go over it lightly with the soap stone. No scrubbing hard enough to possibly damage the porcelain. It worked so well, we used it on the second 2 year old toilet with the same results. The 'scrubbers are so easy to put on the wand and with a touch of the button, they drop into the garbage. Your hands don't come in contact with the pads at all after you use them. All I can say is, what a find, we love it!
The scrubber in the Scotch-Brite Toilet Cleaning System is fantastic because of its strength. I located an older toilet not used for a long time, and after scrubbing with the pad full of bleach alternative, about 2/3 of the bowl sparkled. Removed were thick hard water scale, some rust, and lots of general age-related discoloration. It took not much firm scrubbing because the bleach alternative is very powerful, probably made specifically for this kind of dirt. The pad stayed intact so well I hesitated to dispose of the used refill, and it could be cleaned with my own cleanser or liquid solution and reused more times. The shape Scotch-Brite invented works so well because it goes the furthest up under the rim as well as all around inside and even down into the opening of the bowl. I no longer need to put my hand in there to clean or use a glove for the job. Compared to two other competitor brands, this is the only toilet scrubber that has a dual purpose shape to reach everywhere one usually must clean by hand. Additionally, this it the only scrubber strong enough to use that works at a considerable number of different angles. I turned it sideways for scraping along the scale that forms a ring around at water level in the bowl, and the pad did not come off or loosen at all. It scraped lots of solid, thick lime scale free. The plastic holding on the pad did not come off the scrubber handle clips since it is tough and sturdy. That is why I decided to totally clean the pad so it can be used over. I definitely plan to buy the package with more refills with how often a toilet should be cleaned. It is nice to have the brush handle and use a well sanitized, washed and rinsed pre-used pad in between new disposable pads. This system makes it enjoyable to get the toilet work done and quickly have a shiny bright toilet bowl. It works and cleans so much better than the standard bristle toilet brushes, makes the toil faster, and does a great deal more complete job. It is so strong that after the very effective bleach alternative is gone perhaps it might be used again, such as for jobs outside to remove stains that require harsh scrubbing.
I received the Scotch-Brite Disposable Toilet Bowl Scrubber Cleaning System with Built in Bleaching Alternative to try out and review. I truly like this toilet cleaning system better than any others I've tried. There is another brand of disposal toilet bowl cleaning system that I used to use exclusively. However, I like the smaller size of the Scotch-Brite pads and they are shaped to get into the rim so it cleans faster and better than the other brand. The other brand has thicker pads that aren't as “nimble" as the Scotch-Brite ones. The caddy that holds the handle and disposable pads is compact and fits neatly in any space. The pads are preloaded with cleaner with a bleach alternative that does not have that strong bleach smell. But, it cleans very thoroughly and quickly. This system is so convenient. You take the handle, open the caddy, lower the handle into the caddy to attach the cleaning head, and then scrub the inside of the toilet bowl. To finish, you press the button on the handle, while holding it over a trash can, to release the used cleaning pad into the trash. It takes just a minute or two to clean the toilet bowl and you aren't touching anything yucky. I highly recommend the Scotch-Brite Disposable Toilet Bowl Scrubber Cleaning System to everyone. This is a big upgrade from the old toilet bowl brush and toilet bowl cleaner way of cleaning the toilet bowl. Also, it is better than other brands of disposable toilet bowl cleaning systems because of the size and shape of the pads.
I really like this Scotch-Brite Toliet Bowl Scrubber Cleaning System featuring 5 Bonus Disposable Scrubbing Heads. This is really a cute little caddy that measures 9" in H X 5" D X 2 1/2" W the toilet brush measures 16" the caddy looks like a little toilet to me lol. This is small and compact and doesn't take much room I have mine beside my toilet under my shelf. I like the shape of the disposable scrubbers as they really get under the toilet rim way better then my regular toilet brush does, the scrubber heads have a built in bleach alternative cleaner with pumice scrub and it really does a good job in cleaning my toilet. The bleach alternative cleaner isn't a strong or over powering smell either and you don't have to worry about getting any bleach stains on your clothing either. They do say to let it sit at least 15 minutes before flushing to help dissolve stains I leave mine even longer for a deep clean. I like how the little scrubbing refills all fit right into the top of the caddy and all you do is put the brush into the caddy and it snaps right in the handle and when your done cleaning you just slide the little button forward to release the scrubber head so easy and convenient to use just DON'T FLUSH the scrubbing heads down the toilet. All in all I think who ever uses this system will be happy with it I know I am.
Easy to snap in the scrubber and you can remove it easily without touching. Great handle an the design for the scrubber is great. The bleach built in is a great feature does a really good job at cleaning. Leaves a good clean smell. Was worried about he cost for refills, but the refills come in a ten pack and less than four dollars. This works for me. The instructions say not to flush the used scrubbers down the toilet, too late did it anyway, no problems. Scotch-Brite needs to work on this. I should be able to flush these.
Ok...raise your hands...who out there enjoys cleaning their bathooms? ...and their toilets? I would be in the minority of that vote. I could never seem to buy a toilet brush that would get under the rim ... Thanks to my participation in the Walmart Sparks Program, I had the chance to review the "Scotch-Brite Disposible Toilet Scrubber"...it's a unique experience, let me say. This kit contains a handle, 5 disposible scrubber refills and caddy. It works pretty simply. Load the caddy with the scrubber pads...snap the handle into one of the pads...scrub your toilet and dispose of the pad into your trash can. The toilet scrubber has a bleach alternative cleaner built in. It really gets the job done. The head of the scrubber brush is just the right size to get under the rim and the other parts of your commode. I like the fact that is is disposible. A really neat product.
.... it's probably not the best choice for anyone who has really hard water stains with which to deal. Best quality about it is no more dirty hands from the daily toilet scrubbing! Cleaning the toilet has to be the dirtiest and most dreaded cleaning chore in my home. Can't say this product changes that, but it sure does make it less dreadful to think about and to actually do each day. It's nice to have disposable pads for the wand. They have a bit of pumice included in the cleaning solution on the pads. This mostly takes the place of my old pumice stone and does a fair job with those hard water stains. Using this tool did take 3 cleanings to get rid of the hard water stains in the lower bowl, but it did under the rim in only two cleanings. I live in an area with pretty hard water and had allowed to hard water stains to build up over a few days in order to test this product. Folks with out the hard water issues I have, will probably have better results with this product. I would also suggest that a wee bit of redesigning to the scrubbing pad seems needed. It is clearly designed for "under the rim" (and for that portion it does well) but it does not lay as flat as it should for cleaning the lower slightly curved sides of the bowl at the water line. I will however , most likely continue using it for my daily cleaning, because of the disposable characteristic. Clean, and toss!Then go back to my old method for the monthly deep cleaning. I was given the opportunity to try this product in exchange for my fair and honest review. Because of my opinion that the design needs a bit of tweaking, I can only give it 3 stars.
I recently received the Scotch-Brite Disposable toilet Scrubber Cleaning System. I have always used the Clorox product and have had great success with it. I have seen the Scotch-Brite system in the store before but this one is differently shaped. Apparently, it's designed to be able to scrub under the rim of the toilet better. The system comes with a caddy, the cleaning wand and 5 disposable cleaning pads. The front of the scrubbing pad is flat and you use this side to scrub the sides of the toilet. The pad thins at the top and folds over to connect to the clip that attaches the cleaning pad to the cleaning wand. It is this thinner, folded section that you use to scrub under the rim of the toilet. You can see that some thought was put into the design and I did find that it did scrub under the rim better than the Clorox cleaning scrubber that I typically use. The system comes with it's own storage caddy. I found the caddy plastic to be somewhat flimsy and easy to tip over. It would have been nice if it was a little taller or wider so it would be more stable. The cleaning pad is easy to attach to the wand. All you have to do is push and click, however the pad did fall off the cleaning wand when I was scrubbing the bowl the first time I used it and I had to fish it out with the wand and then use another pad to finish the job. It did foam up nicely but the pad is thin and the soap didn't seem to last that long. I found this product to be just ok.
