I, too, have been buying this (medium size) sponge for years! But can no longer find this size. Why, 3M, are you discontinuing this sponge? The small version in the 4 pak is too small and the large one (single pak) is too big. I would recommend this product to everyone if I could but, I can't because I no longer find it! Please, please, bring back the 2 pak medium size, i.e.: 5.5" L x 3.25" W. Apparently, others want it back too!
I recently noticed that the dual 6” sponge packs now only come in green or blue! Now this is a dilemma for me, since I use different colors for different purposes. For example: purple color is only for cleaning toilets in our house! All of my kids have been conditioned to know this! Blue is for kitchen, green is for bathroom sinks/tubs and orange is for floors. With only 2 colors, now the purple toilet sponge is AWOL!(absent without leave) I know this sounds nuts, but it is part of my quirky, yet clear, cleaning system. Perhaps you can sell the colors in separate color packs or singly.
For some reason, the purple sponges do not perform. They do not absorb like the other colors. I avoid them, if possible. Have used 20+ -- all the same problem Unfortunately, they are packaged with many other colors -- hard to avoid sometimes.
I've been buying these for years. Now they're impossible to find in the stores. The larger one is too big and the 4.7 inch ones are too small. Why are they being discontinued?
Why is the utility size sponge impossible to find? The small size is too small and the large sponge is too big for my hand. How hard is it to make more and get them into stores?
How about letting us choose what colors we want? Like two-packs of blue and green. Orange and purple look odd in anyone's kitchen, especially a guy's place. Now I can't find packs with even one blue or green in the stores.
Scotch-Brite Ocelo Large Antimicrobrial Utility Sponge, 12 Count (Colors May Vary). Does "12-Count" mean that there are twelve, separate, sponges in the pack? Have I misunderstood "12-Count" to mean this, in the Order/Description Heading?
I have been buying Ocelo sponges for years and have only one complaint. The purple sponges start to shred way too soon and leave purple pieces all over my counter tops or wherever else I may use them. I have no problems with any of the other colors that last a long time with no shredding at all. It's impossible to find a multi-pack of your sponges without there being a purple one in the bag. I can't believe that I am the only one with this problem. Please, please stop putting these purple ones in all of the packages because there must be something in that dye that is causing it to deteriorate. I am very close to not buying your product because of the waste I incur in throwing out these purple sponges.
I've used the purple sponges for over 13 yrs to wipe down my tile shower. They used to be great but over the past few years, they shed purple onto my grout, accumulating enough so that I have to scrub it out with the tile brush. What's up with that? I'm really tired of the reduced quality in all brands of manufactured products over the years -- to save a buck. Disappointed that this is happening at a reputable company like 3M.
This was suppose to be a 12 pack multi color set of sponges! Instead it's one giant, 1 color sponge! So what am I suppose to do with a giant sponge that I didn't order! Too many times I've ordered stuff like socks which were too small! Slippers which were too small and they were nothing like the description! So today is the day that I've had enough! I will not spend another cent with Walmart! I am unsubscribing!
