Having 3 siberian huskies--dog hair is a constant issue in our home--and I usually wear black or dark colored trousers so there was a definite need for the lint roller. This seemed like a unique lint roller to me, maybe because I have not purchased one in some time. But I really liked the plastic "cover" to keep anything from sticking to the unused tape...I don't think I have seen that before. The actual lint pick-up sheet worked very well getting any loose debris from the clothing. The only "problem." which was really not a big one at all, was that it made a squeaky noise when it rolled....our doggies kept looking at it, like..."what is that noise?" I received this product for free from 3M in return for an honest review. Having just gotten a new puppy, this product could not have arrived at a better time. There is dog hair everywhere in our house, but we mostly notice it on our clothes. I had forgotten just how much dogs shed. (I haven't had one in 2 years.) My husband had been bugging me to get a lint roller, while in the meantime he had been using the old “scotch-tape-wrapped-around-your-hand” method. While I am a homemaker, he works with the public and cannot look like half the dog is on his clothes when he is at work. I love how “fat”, or should I say thick this lint roller is. The handle is curved very nicely to fit your hand. (I remember how thin previous rollers were.) The roller's stickiness is great at picking up dog hair on his clothes. He uses it right before he goes to work. I like the printed design. Why? Does it make the roller work better? Does it pick up more hair? No, I just think it's pretty (!) I received this 50% stickier lint roller in the mail Saturday and have already used it, on a lamp shade, the table, and some clothes. It is wonderful product and picks up things I haven't been able to pick up with another lint roller. When this runs out I will be looking for a refill for it. Every year i purchase the lint rollers and refills for my daughter and daughters in law. I buy myself one, also. I lays keep one in each of our cars because we have VERY "sheddy" animals. I get covered with pet hair just walking to the front door, so I wait until I'm in the car to "depet". The rollers are really sticky and do a great clean-up on my black pants. I love the printed design of of the lint roller that I received free from 3M. I gave it 4 stars because the adhesive was not sticky enough to get dog hair out my husbands wool jacket but it worked great on my son's cotton shirt. I received this product free from 3M. Product was squeaky when using. Hard to find separations. Our main use of like products is removing dog hair after brushing . Dogs did not like noise. Doesn't work as well as others bought in bulk @ wholesale warehouse. Even removing dog hair, lint from clothes this product did not preform well. Did not get the reason for design on generic product. Did not add any value to product in lieu of bad performance of main purpose. sorry [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
3M is taking the "fun" out of tidying up. Now we can't see the lint or hairs as we roll our way to clean.
